All Christians are called to service of their Creator in some way. This is our reasonable service; not expecting anything in return from Him.
Of course I fall short. But I try.
we all have a gift of some kind. We say....... not me. We have to be able to listen to Him and realize all He has done and will do for us.
I have known personally some good Christians who have had things happen to them all their life that carried a negative impact, yet always smile and move forward. I suppose they see their reward not here on earth, but, in meeting their Savior when he decides to call them Home. Such people I admire.
I see people work hard , save money, invest and want all the comforts and toys of the world. Then, BANG. They lose their health and their priorities change.
I used to wonder why god allows ungodly people to "have it all" and some of us Christians who try to do right gain little or none. A couple of years ago i found a few verses that relate to this as He says, "It rains on the just and unjust."
We are to be content on what we have and be grateful. It took me years and years to be enlightened on this.
I ask God this morning what he wanted me to do today and He wanted me to write these simple words for some to read.
Today I am grateful. Tomorrow i have to start it all over again. He gives us a new beginning each day.

Instead of fretting about what we don't have , or what we had yesterday , lets take a look at what we DO have today .

In addition to what I posted earlier; I realized this morning that I uses verses God's Principles to stare on Facebook in which I signed up last week. Only have a handful of "friends" and family.
After a few days a girl asked me if I was really the __________ ___________ she knew way back then.
You see, I was a very wild guy with drinking , drugging and so forth and most remember me as that type of guy.
I mean 30 years of getting in trouble, jails and detox programs has followed me.
I 'm not a good writer and find it hard to express my thoughts as they jump out at me 'but I am just ole Real and the old ones here know this.
I said all that too say this>>>>> I have witnessed the Power of Christ to change people through this Facebook "thang"
i aid I would never sign up on Facebook because i felt it was a "gossip' place. But now I have and a few have seen the new creature God has has changed through lots of trials and chastisements.
I also mentioned my involvement here at Oasis as a place that has helped me and hopefully some will come and check it out.
So, we can serve Him in many capacities without preaching and teaching.
I spent many years locked up and God gave me a chance to study His Word in depth. So when I read a post here, Facebook, or just in a conversation; The Holy Spirit brings verses to me that I've read and even tho I do not quote them; I put them in my own words. This is a way also to serve our Lord.

I realize I have used alot of "I'" s on this post but this comes from what little I can do in what you might say small things.
It's like when "one bird sings; then they all begin to.
Just saying Hello and Welcome is a service to Him here.
I have had health problems for a year now and are unable to work and bring in money like I used to. Therefore, my donations are slim to none here. This site operates on Faith via donations.
I have always had a burden for this.
Lots of times I don't see oasis logged in nor phantom and i assume they are scrambling for jobs to keep this site afloat.
I do know personally they will give their last dollar to one in need and skip a few meals to do so.
God will see all of us through if we listen and "try" too do what He wants us to do. I fall short daily and when I became a member 5 years ago I chose the name realtmg which means REAL plus my initials. I'm just me and have had a hard time of loving myself because of the years of backsliding I did.
Well......... I type with two fingers so this has taken a while to write.
