Hi ILovAnime,
I am so sorry to read your story -you are not overreacting. Bullying is a very serious problem which affects millions of children (and adults) throughout the world. So you are not alone! It is often a problem which goes unrecognized, even when the person being bullied draws attention to it - as you have done. Your parents' apparent lack of support could possibly be because your parents may be so horrified at the thought of you being bullied, that they may refuse to believe that it is happening.
Maybe, could you ask your Mom to secretly listen in to your study sessions? In this way, your Mom may be able to overhear some of the things your friend is saying.
There is a possibility that your friend is acting like this because not all is well with her life and she is piling all of her anger on to you.
Please keep strong, there are so many people on Christianity Oasis who can offer you support and better advice than I can offer, but keep your trust in God and He will see you through this so that you can be stronger - you may even, in time to come, be able to help others with similar problems because you have experienced this.
Keep strong!!!
*Cross*

Wow, Simon, you took the words right out of my mouth. Everything that I thought as I read the post was just what you wrote!

Anime, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. You are valuable to God and to your parents! No matter what this girl says, we know that you are important to Jesus! Can you think of a scripture that says that and memorize it?
Can you be very calm and talk to you mom about the situation? I think I remember when my kids would tell me about these kinds of things that at first I would think they were over reacting but if they came to me very calmly and seriously, i would hear them better. Moms can't hear their kids when they whine ( i used to tell my kids that) I like Simon's idea of asking your mom to secretly listen in. Make sure she knows how important this is to you!

I will pray that your parents see what is going on and that it gets resolved. Hang in there! No matter what, YOU do the right thing!

I just found out I hafta study with this friend for 6 months non-stop when my mom told me I probably wouldn't. wat do i do???? i'm not sure i can take much more, and I'm considering like, just leaving my home. I know it'll be bad for a 12 year old girl 2 be out on her own, but how much difference can it make? I have no support here, so out there wouldn't be much different...wat should i do??? *help*

Hello Anime (hug)

God bless you this day.

I'm sorry that your hurting friend is hurting you. Yes, I said your hurting friend, because she is hurting too. Sounds like the two of you have more in common than you think. Both of you are hurting, and it sounds like you are both hurting because you feel alone and discarded, as if your voice does not count.

Your voice does count. God loves you and He is willing to listen to all that is on your mind and heart, AND He is willing to heal the thoughts that become twisted in our minds.

I was wondering who is the teacher of your homeschooling, and where is the teacher when all this is going on? Couldn't you just pick up your laptop and move to another room, instead of sitting there in the same room with your friend when she becomes annoying? Space is a good thing when we need to cool down our jets. ;)

Prayers are rising to our Lord in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Sister Mack

@Mack
we both homeschool at MY apartment, and she's the only one with the laptop, so I can't move. my MOM is the 'teacher' but really she hasn't been around since we started homeschooling 2gether. we basically don't need a 'teacher' becuz our lesson guides us thru it.

wat do u mean she's hurting 2? she seems HAPPY 2 bully me. I'm not sure i understand.... *dunno*

I think you should ask your mom to read this forum. And then tell her it is you.

so I just talked with my mom and dad about my 'situation'. they both say I'm overreacting. I think from now on I'll keep my emotions inside and no one will know about anything I am struggling with. Maybe its best that way, maybe its not. I dunno. I dunno anything anymore. I'm so confused.

I'm struggling with wanting 2 kill myself I feel so depressed. I just...don't know wat 2 do...am I overreacting? I just don't know! wats wrong with me? why am I SUCH a freak? I just don't know!

I still think that you should print out what you wrote in this forum and leave it on their pillow for them to read. I doubt that you can express yourself as well in person, particularly when you don't feel like they will take you seriously. You expressed yourself beautifully here. Please print out at least your first post and put it on their pillow. You may wish to print out the whole thing.

You could use a print screen to do it - but then they would know what site you are going to and that might end up invading your privacy. So, you may wish to copy paste into a word document and print that out.

I think that would be very helpful. Copying our comments might be very helpful too.

I think that your parents are probably embarrased at the thought of ending the relationship with tis other child. That they feel like they are breaking a promise. And there is also the idea that if she has been hurting you all this time when you have been telling them, then they have let you be hurt. And frequently, parents would rather stay denying it because then they can pretend you aren't hurt. But you are hurt. Presumably they are home schooling you for your benefit. And this is hurting you. So that is difficult for parents to take.

So, please, please - copy paste this whole chain and leave it on their pillow. If that still doesn't work, then take it to an adult that you trust, maybe your Sunday School teacher or preacher, and talk to them about talking to your parents. I am sure your parents love you - but they just really, really find this difficult to accept because they don't want it to be true.
Hugs,
Dema
