Bosses: Anybody have problems with theirs?

Postby Faithandlove » Wed Nov 16, 2011 10:23 pm

Well, she's not my boss, but my supervisor. And she resents me. All she does is try to make things difficult for me. She lies to others about me. Tampers with my stuff. And always try to find a way to schedule me for less hours, so that I can "suffer" in my finances. She does things on purpose to try and make life difficult for me.

Most times, I just let it roll off. But sometimes, I can't. I understand turning the other cheek (and most everytime, I do this), but don't we have a right as Christians to defend ourselves? She does some of the most wicked stuff to nearly all of us at work, and nothing is being done about it. Like her boss, don't even want to hear about the dirt she's doing. Even though, I've prayed and prayed and prayed about this situation, I can't help but think if this is one of those things that God is allowing to happen, to keep me seeking Him? *help*

Anybody else having problems at work or with their boss?

Thank you, my loving brohter! *hug*

I was beginning to think that I was the only one here (well, maybe I am?) with problems on the job!

Ok, I'll deal! *laughter*

But, you know, some prayers would really be nice and helpful!

Y'all, much love! *hug*

Thank you and God bless.

praying for you sister...and all concerned. Remember God is in control. There is something He wants to show you through this....even if its to grow patience in you....or, love for others, even when they dont deserve it..or humility..or being humble...I dont know, but ask Him to show you..and show them the love of Jesus...till He does something else. Have you applied for other jobs?

In Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

Wow, i hope you are not working where i used to work *dunno* Sure sounds familiar!

I have had a problem with a coworker in a past position and was even let go due to lies and a whole bunch of other things that was going on. Long story, but to keep it short.. the manager was lieing n fudgin the inventory... yada yada after a battle and me gathering evidence and letting the owner know hence the firing of this manager... after being cut hrs and intimidated and the whole 9 yards... and even after all that one of his cohorts, his faithful assistant spread lies about me and eventually led to me being laid off. Was a big mess and a hard time in my life. I still have a hard time practicing forgivness over these events, but the trade off was such a blessing!

I was laid off for 3 months, collected unemployment and found a wonderful new job *Clap* . The first month i was at the new job i got employee of the month and was well respected in my new field. I have since relocated and have found another awesome job, almost even better than the one i had. So it was stepping stones to where He planned for me to be.

The point Im trying to make is, He is in control. He knows our tomorrow, so trust Him with the now and the future. IN the meantime practice your virtues and keep seeking Him. Watch for His guidance and try your best to keep your side of the street clean.

Prayin for ya
God bless

Thank you, dear sisters!

@momof3, yes, I have applied to many jobs, but I guess in this economy, employers are just not hiring as many people as they used to! :) But you know, I quit this job (about 6 mos ago), but God brought me back to it. There is something here that He wants to use me for or wants me to see. So I am trying really hard to be patient and all the while, seeking Him.

But, I won't lie, some days just getting out of bed knowing that I have to face another day at that job while waiting on God, can be so stressful. I have stomach problems sometimes just from thinking about that job and having to face another day there. But I think if I were to leave again, that God would bring me right back (kicking and screaming *BigGrin* ).

I am grateful to have a job, so I will just wait on Him!

Everyone, thank you for your prayers. *hug*

GBU *Halo*
