My nephew, Cody Roth has been in a freak car accident this weekend. He is in a coma now and will be for the next few days. His condition is critical. Haven't spoken to my brother, Paul yet but, I'll be talking to him shortly. I know he'll be taking a few days off to be with him. The whole family is shaken up about this. Last year, a week before Christmas, Cody was diagnosed with Type 1 cancer, and the family was shaken by that shaken by that news as well, but he was determined to get past that and still expressed an interest to play college football. There were even a few schools I'm told that were interested in him. I have gone through just about everyone on my friend's list to start a prayer chain going for my family. WHAT AM I FEELING RIGHT NOW? : Several things actually; i feel the temptations swelling up in me with to feel anger towards the other party who did this to him(keep in mind, i don't know the whole circumstances involved in this situation), angry that his life could be cut short and all his hopes, dreams and desires will never see the light of day; and yes, a little anger towards God that he's allowing this to happen. Please note that no one in my brother's family are not Christians and that I am concerned now more than ever them. As I am typing this, i am realizing that God has always had a plan for my family and will use this to his glory no matter what the outcome. And if you'll note the statement i put in () earlier, I still don't know the whole story about the circumstances so, my anger may be understandable but, not justified. Thank you for taking the time for reading this and for your prayers!

Im lifting your whole family up in prayers. His perfect will be done in all of this. Brother, God knows your heart. He isnt angry with you for being angry, but be angry at the circumstances, and give them to the Lord. The person/s who caused this accident will have this to live with this for the rest of their life. I so understand how you are feeling. I so understand that anger. Im praying for you and your family, and your nephew. Please keep us updated.

I first want to say I wish we had met on better terms BUT please know I am praying for your nephew as you have asked
I do agree with momo on God knowing your heart and understanding your anger but please think of this, if I understand what you have said you do not know what or how it happened just that he was in an accident, first what if it was just that a total accident=something out of everyones control....or (and please do not be mad at how this is worded) but what if he caused it and you are being angry and faulting others for this, PLEASE remember the most important thing is prayer and forgiveness for all involved, it is not important of who or why right now as it is that human life be repaired and then allow God and the justice system sort it out but please remember that even then the anger is only going to hurt you it will not in any way help to solve anything, I feel led to tell you God IS in control and He will do what is best, you are the Christian of the family so you ARE the connection, keep your faith that God is in control and show the others what your faith and prayer can do, I know how anger can and will destroy life please don't allow satan to use that tool on you, as the Lord looks upon you and your actions let Him be proud that you are the one He has chosen to reach these other family members.
God bless you brother and know that prayers are being said all over for your nephew as well as the others who may have been hurt also.
I hope you don't take this in a wrong way I mean ONLY to lift and love you and yours as my family in Christ.
