Although God is by far so beyond our capability to comprehend him completely I believe that he does make his plan for us made known. He won't always make it totally clear immediately in the beginning because if he did then we would not make the same choices as we do and there for our free will would be hindered.

there are prophecies in place even today that still need to play out and we all have a very special roll in those prophecies.

How ever God may not immediately make his plan known he does give us an understanding if we ask him for it and listen to him as to what our purpose is and why things happen as they do.
