Thank you, everyone, for you prayers for my friend who had the bad car accident.

Update: She finally was able to call me. She walked away from the accident with broken ribs, brusing, broken foot and will have to see a lung specialist to make sure there are no internal injuries. She is at the home of one of her daughters, and being cared for well. Still on 2 blood thinners for blood clots; has to sleep in a recliner. She had actually gone into work, until she collapsed and was taken to the hospital by the EMTs. Stubborn... But she thanks the Lord that she survived what should have been fatal, according to the police on the scene.

I do believe that our prayers work, and ask that you would continue them. Her big problem right now is blood clots. She is 62 years old.

Praise God slyvia, this is great news...prayers will continue for your friend.

Surgery went well, and I'm now on the mend...feeling a little better this evening...still on pain meds, but hoping to be able to start weaning myself off them in the next couple days.
