Want to free myself
I am new here. Finally I decided to confess my addiction please pray that I will be set free. I am a saved christian but of late I find am addicted to having cyber sex chats & porn. Always addicted to go one particular Cyber chat site where many Girls come in looking for cyber sex chats and I get involved with them. I am really sorry to mention that am addicted to this sin of cyber sex chatting and lust in my mind. I know when I confess my sin and tell the truth Jesus will set me free. Kindly advice me how I can get myself out of this sin. I've been praying for this alone but still struggling and BUSY (Being Under Satans Yoke) with this sin. Please pray & need advice.

Re: Want to free myself
Howdy Bro,
to
Amen! It is good to allow others to fight this battle with you!! Thank you for stepping out of what you have known as a solo battle, allowing us the opportunity to stand with ya.
Alone? You can't... Sorry to say brother but plain, honest truth.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
King James Version (KJV)
9Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
10For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
11Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
12And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
But.... What you can do, is continue to allow us to stand with ya in the awesome presence of our Lord where together, we can fight!
Another suggestion, if I may be so bold Give God 14 days, one step at a time, through the following Journey of Healing and Truth:
http://www.christianityoasis.com/CCCC/Forum.htm
Every time you feel tempted to give in to the sin you wish to seperate yourself from, choose instead to read a step (whatever step you are on) or one of the previous steps you have read through (once started). Read it as many times as ya need to, instead of going where your heart says Don't. I also encourage you to write in your journal (this will be explained in step one) each time you read through... this will allow you (and those within this ministry who will stand with ya) to witness His awesome work in and through you!
I would also like to welcome and encourage you to consider joining any of the awesome Spirit-Filled Programs offered in Chat here at the Oasis...
http://www.christianityoasis.com/Keyword/calendar.htm
SOS Chat Program is offered Wednesday at 8 PM where we join together to discuss ways to overcome addiction.
Prayers are with you Lyon Bro, for freedom, strength and healing in accordance to Gods Holy Will.
Peace n Luv in Christ,
Lani

Re: Want to free myself
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Praise the Lord. After much struggle today I am starting the CCCC forum 14 step healing program. It took me one month and four days to make the start from the 1st date I came here and placed my problem. Few times over this period I fell of but managed to dust off and get back. I know this should not be the way as I need to free myself completly. The 14 steps I know will help me with that. Please advise me what else I should do .
Thanks
Lyon
