Christianity Oasis Forum

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Being made whole

Postby darkness_b4_light » Sun Sep 04, 2011 2:37 pm

some of you have seen me in chat, at times i am rather quiet. some of you may have seen some of my posts in these forums in the past ... please accept me anyways. Jesus is making me whole again. i haven't always been in complete control of the things i've said... i have been fractured for many years, but Jesus has knit the pieces back together again and i am being made whole and made new. He has great things in store for me and i'm no longer afraid. please be patient with me there is still alot of healing needed, but He has begun some amazing things. He is restoring my gifts to His purposes. and slowly i am learning to trust, not only trust Him but trust myself. i am so grateful to belong here... to have friends here that accept me and encourage me. i would be lost without the Oasis and without the friends it has brought me.

We all have some sort of wart or snaggle tooth. And we all crave acceptance. (I imagine the president craves it quite a bit right now. :) )

God loves all us ugly little babies of his. ANd we are all ugly. And beautiful. We are all both. At the same time. One of the mysteries.

That makes my spirit rise up inside of me to hear what wonderful things God is doing with in you. :)

God is great! *Clap*

When you first came to the Oasis I knew He would be preforming wonderful works in you and through you.

You are beautiful. God has created you perfectly just as you are. You are His and He is yours and together you will do great things. You are doing great things together.

You're a beautiful testimony to who God is.

He never leaves us nor forsakes us.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
