I'm scared of the rain; it's gentleness might hurt

Re: Zemi's journal - Day 3 - Letting go????
I hope you learn to like and love yourself. You are beautifully and wonderfully made by God/Jesus. He does not make create hateful things...The enemy wants us to hate ourselves and reminds us all day of our sins and failures but God has thrown all our sins behind His back never to see them again..He wants us to do the same....we can only have faith in Jesus when we look at HIM not ourselves or circumstances.
May we learn to truly love and accept ourselves as God does. He loves you dearly Zem!
God bless!

this is the song that came to mind in response to what I wrote earlier .............. haven't heard it for years
thanks so much Ing, I needed that reminder to look at God
Lani, didn't even get as far as the forgiving self part this time round yet; got stuck on other things instead ..... thanks so much for the song ................ it's really ministering to me

Hello sister
I can sooooo understand about the self hate. We can trust our Father who loves us enough to let His son die on the cross for us to take care of even the self hate. May take some sanding, but what better place to be than in His sweet hands.
God loves you Zim and so do I.
Trust Him even with all this. You're not alone in your struggles. There are others that are struggling with the exact same thing and others who have over come. You can over come too.
Take care.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

(((((Pine)))))) thanks so much for your reply .............. I was kind of hmm half expecting to get the "usual" lecture people give as far as ...... how terrible self-hate is, the kind that leaves you feeling worse than ever and running from instead of to God ......... (and i don't mean expecting it from "you" .. just expecting) ................ so hearing that God will take care of even this ................ does the opposite and to trust Him with even this ....................... makes it seem like; it really is ok to, even with this
