Hello, I wanted to share with you all something. I know this is between me and the Lord But i feel like it would be good to share it with my friends on what the Lord is doing in this vessel
Ok for a few years i been writings sermons, i knew that he wasnt gonna leave me with just writing, anyways, ikept on writing and sharing it sometimes. So for a while now I bee nwanting to go to bible college, atl east to learn more on the bible
So the other after finding well the LOrd leading me to a Bible college, that well i saved so many links of coolleges on my fav and only one appeared, anyways I was praying the day before yesterday and asking God if it was His plan and will in my life to be a pastor especially with me being female. In the Baptist churches I havent seen famales up in the pulpit, anyways the next day I was just browsing my bible not really looking for anything and i put my eyes on something and It read this.
Luke 4:18-19 (King James Version) 18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. So then i wrote it down. Well later that night I was finding some things i had written down year n years ago, and i was looking at it, there it was again the same verse. so I was praying and i asked the Lord for confirmation if this was His will, again, when beside the scripture was another scripture In Isaiah 61:1-2 1The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
So, I take that as His way of saying to me it is His will. Furthermore, I understand thse scriptures couse well Not only did Jesus say this that it was His ministry and He lived them but that we are to follow in those footsteps and do it also, and that He is saying in that last verse now is the time, its that year, He has called me, called me into the ministry.
Well I called my sunday school teacher and she knows and read what i have written before, and she told me yes, sounds like He did answer me, but said to be very careful to pick up something false thinking its an answer. Thats why i usually ask Jesus to show me in His word. So i will know its Him and usually shows me many times before i see its Him talking. Would like your replies on This. Found another scripture on this wantedto add it, Jeremiah 1:5-7 God told Jeremiah) Before I formed thee ... I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Then said I, (Jeremiah) Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

An Update
I know this is the Lord calling becouse He has opened door that only He can open and I know sooner or later the enemy will try to tackle it but God will make it happen. So far He has open the door to me getting finacial aid to pay for school, I got the other two scholarships and also grandma is fianlly trying to help me learn to drive, I prayed and then she started talking about it, so I called department of rehabiitation since they use to pay for schooling, um and see if they will help, I need accomodations to the car n stuff will is a big cost, you know to put on the peddls and the seat n stuff. the money to buy the car and the money to get accomodated well, right now thats not something we can afford uncless the Lordmakes a way, Im sure in His time He will. Um well Yesterday i was reading a book and the Lord kept showing me the same scrip as before, and then i opened my bible and read and it was ame scrip, so Im really not sure what He is trying to tell me, couse its same one He showed me that He clled me to preach, which i feel so unworthy of this calling but I know its something He wants me to do so I obey and He is opeening college to learn all the theology etc. But I feel like He is telling me since I have no outside life as of now that I am to preach and teach online to whoemever I feel lead by the Holy Spirit, Just soemtimes i dont knnow what to say and afraid of saying it couse when i usually do i get in trouble and stuff and well i dont wanna open my big mouth and get told to stay out of the business. well thats all for now

Well it took over three months to be able to tal to the pastor, this time he said yes ill talk to you, he had some otehrs that needed it more, so i waited , he showed me where he eeps his wallet , be something if i slipped money i n htere, naw its locked anyways. Ok so i showed him everything that the Lord said aboout what He wants me to do and my pastor said it is very clear that God is calling me into ministry but he said that I should keep praying and that it might be something else not exactly a pastor, which is fine, I at least know I am being called to work for God in something special, he said take it one day at a time. Haha, he is funny, he asked me if I was gonna tell grandparents now and well when i told him that maybe later when they are more happy, and then he said well why arent they happy, i said couse ive been pretty touchy lately, he said oh you gonna be a grouchy pastor eh? i laughed about that, and i opened the door for him to go out. well now i gotta pray and ask God t o help me with telling grandparents, and the Lord showed me the same scripture twice last week again, he is ike well havent ya got the message yet? Hmm not sure what he is telling me so gotta pray more--getting the finacial aid stuff done, when im better ill have a drive up there to the college, and i gotta pray for transportation too, sure wish i could drive:(
Well Im just glad that God is answering my prayers and helping me be able to do something for Him instead of being stuck here in bed all day all my life. Anyways thats all i wanted to say for now.

Was looking at what minister means in the passage of Romans 15:16 and it said that minister in that context means to be a servant to serve the Lord. So not really Jesus is calling me to be a pastor but to be a servant and serve Him in a ministry to which I dont know quite yet. Ill update later.

I agree Mercy.

Ministering is meeting a need through love and compassion.

That need could be physical or it could be spiritual. Usually people are in need of both.

I WAS CALLLED TO MINISTER A FEW MONTHS AGO AND I KNEW IT WAS THE LORD! AND NOW I TEACH BIBLE STUDY TO MY FAMILY M-T AND THE LORD LEADS AND GUIDES ME! AND EACH DAY I GROW STRONGER IN THE LORD! AND THATS WHAT WE HAVE TO DO BECAUSE THE ENEMY WILL ATTACK WHEN YOU HAVE A CALLING ON YOUR LIFE! BUT WITH GOD ON OUR SIDE EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FINE! GOD BLESS YOU AND MAY HEAVEN SMILE UPON YOU!
