.:Paryer for life without...:.

Postby Faith_Underfire » Sun Apr 03, 2011 12:04 pm

A person very close to me my Brother died August 10th 2010. He was the brother that wasn't supposed to live to be a year old. He had more faith than the rest of our family put together, it is so hard without him. Our room where he died seems to be more and more lonely every night as I lay down to sleep. I just need constant prayer, been listening to music to kill the silence. Music like Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, Dead Poetic, Project 86, and Underoath. It seems to help some listening to something like that because I barely can listen to Casting Crowns or any of my older lighter music because I begin to cry and everything replays over in my head from the day.

He began to get some energy and began to run some yet stay right by Harlow. As Harlow pointed out a shiny rock he picked it up in his muzzle and began to run around with it as if saying, 'Check out this cool item Harlow and I found.'

Thanks. I am sorry I feel so stupid being selfish like this and down whatever. I feel like a huge friend, maybe if I had known CPR when my brother died he would have lived, he died on the floor behind me literally.

Hello Faith_Underfire *hug*

My dear brother in Christ, I know you miss your brother, but don't carry those feelings of guilt over his death. Lay them down at the feet of Jesus and find rest in The Lord. Your brother is resting with our Lord.

Isaiah 57: 1-2 (NIV) The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. (2) Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

I Thessalonians 4:13-18 (NIV)
13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Faith_Underfire, your brother is now cheering you on from up above. He is now a part of the "cloud of witnesses" spoken of in Hebrews 12:1.

Hold tight to the Lord, Faith_Underfire. Jesus loves you so very much.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

It is ok to cry. Tears are healing. Allow yourself to just cry as you talk to God about it. I'm glad you are talking about it.

Love you brother. *hug*

*Pray* 4 U! May you find some comfort and peace through Him.

Because this is a huge loss. Give yourself time to grieve.

I remember feeling like I was never going to stop crying and find a happy day again. And then when I began to step out of that something would happen and I'd be in tears and hurting over my loss all over again.

Hospice says it takes usually around a year to grieve. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

I remember the pain felt like a knife in my back. The only comfort was knowing I'd see him again in Heaven. Praise God we have that comfort. And don't let the enemy try to steal that from you. You know he is singing and dancing and jumping for joy in the heavenly realms. He is at peace and he is well. But you hurt and that is where you want to be too, in Heaven. Give yourself time and prayer dear brother. And keep sharing when you need to. I found talking about my memories helped. Maybe you'd like to start a thread in precious memories of a dedication to your brother and share stories and memories of things you remember. Or post memories on another thread you've started. :)

I pray you have received forgiveness towards the things you felt guilty about. I love you and feel for you. *hug*

Although the music you are listening to fits what you are feeling now, you really need to break free from it because it is actually keeping you down. What music did your brother listen to? Remember him as you listen ... remember why He would listen to it.
