called me this morning at 6:30. she was a wreck. she was sounding like a breakdown. my bro is back in jail. has been 2 days. mom has always tried to handle everything for everyone. and its piled up on her. please pray that God give her His peace and know that He is in control. Pray that she will let it go and let God, for real. That she will stop tyring to do everything in her own strength. shes had 2 back surgeries and the pain is causing her not to beable to sleep,too.

thank you guys...i just spoke to my dad...we have not had an update. my brother was arrested on PI - public intoxication, which violates the terms of his parole, and he was outside the boundaries of where he is allowed to be as well.

Strong,i think my brother was saved when he was around 8-10, if so he has been away from the Lord a long time.

update this a.m... mom has been at her cousin's hepling her fix leaky plumbing and put in new tile. she has had back surgeries and this over-doing it work has aggravated her back - a lot - and the stress of my bro doesnt help. so, after the phone call yesterday morning, cousin called a friend that's a nurse and they got mom calmed down. gave her pain meds and she slept all day. she woke this morning feeling better. they called and got appointment for a pain specialist monday. the nurse friend has had the same surgeries as mom plus 2. she said the pain gets worse with scar tissue building up and they do more surgeries to remove that....grrrrr....praying for no more surgeries and no more pain. mom got that necrotic strep last time and we almost lost her.

as for bro...mis-communication and he wasn't outside of where he's allowed to be - thats good i guess - but still drunk and not allowed to be ...so not a change there really.

thank you all for continuing to pray with me for them. love y'all oodles and gobs.

oooohh and yesterday was my son's 8th birthday. it was busy and fun. what was really cool was that through the whole thing every time there was a quiet moment Holy Spirit reminded me to pray. i have asked God for this type of closeness with Him for sooooo long! God is so good!

update...talked to dad a lil bit ago and mom is very good today, she said. tomorrow appointment with pain specialist.

update: dad says mom is resting well. he is there with her now. dr. gave her a steroid shot in her back today. she can have another in a month. the dr. thinks he can help her. sounds vague to me but \o/
