just starting 14 day program

i am experiecing depression and anxiety, which is rooted by fear that i have had all my life. i need lots of prayer and healing. i am struggling with faith right now too

Hi kl..and welcome to Oasis. Believe that you arent here by mistake. The Lord has led you here to find the peace you are searching for. Take this journey one day at a time and know that although it may not be easy, the steps in this Spirit filled counceling forum is well worth the fight. Be open and honest and dont be afraid of judgment in any way. We are here to love on you...and let the Holy Spirit love you and show you some amazing things about His love and grace and peace... these same things He wants to fill you with. Easy? No....but you will be changed if you allow His truths to replace what the enemy of your soul and the things this world has made you believe. Standing with you in prayer. May His peace fill you and His Spirit speak to you, in Jesus' name.

yea, fear is the weapon of the enemy. Had that most of my life too. Fantastic when you get rid of it with God's help.
The counseling program is great. If you reach a hard spot, don't quit, ask someone to help you push thru. Most times when it gets hard, that's the thing that you need to get rid of for your freedom.

Depression and anxiety....yep it's a classic combo rooted together by the enemy of our soul...trying to pull us into darkness and away from healing and Light. I'm glad you are here at the Oasis...and fighting the enemy...may you find the Truth that you seek.
