Yesterday in Stepping Stone #4 of the Christianity Christian Counseling program, I learned to forgive myself and forgive others because the Lord himself is forgiving. I also learned that when I hold unforgiveness against myself, I can hinder myself from drawing closer to the Lord and also my prayers can be hindered. I learned that in order for the Lord to forgive me, I must forgive others and let go of the past.

So, I learned to move on and stop living in the past because God forgives. I need to also learn to forgive as God forgives. He casts all of our sins as far as the east is from the west into the sea of forgetfulness. I am glad that God is forgiving and merciful. God is faithful to the faithless and a Father to the fatherless.
