Streams: This post is a rambling of my thoughts at this time: some good . . . some not so good. but all are mine and that's okay too ;)

Started my new job. Or returned to my old job. Going well. I've missed my friends.

I've been honest and open with my marriage to all my friends. They have walked with me through so much over the last 8 years. It's nice to have them understand and not have to explain all the details. They were there through all the details. They even watched some of the events occur. That helps my emotions to settle down. I feel safer.

I am grateful for the other places that I've worked because, I needed to go through some of the pain in a different location. things haven't necessarily been pretty. However, perhaps they are getting better? I'm not usually sure. Something will be okay then something else crops up.

Hmmmmm, that's part of healing though. Like an onion, the layers are pulled back little by little. Each layer brings tears. Once disected and sauted into something tastey, food can be served to all who are hungry. That is the crux of pain and suffering, I think. The more difficult part is knowing when the food is no longer safe to eat or serve to guests.

Little by little . . . and that's okay too.

*hug* I've missed you. Glad to hear from you sis. I know things aren't easy in your marriage...but find peace in God. So the job is good huh? Back with friends who care.

continuing to workout.

not giving up.

i'm 5ft 2inches and weigh 138. according to the body mass index, i am only .4% from being considered obese. ouch!!!!!

more importantly is the fact that i had been falling down alot, tripping over my own feet, and bumping into things more frequently. since getting help to build stronger muscles, this problem seems to be correcting. I am extremely happy about this. My balance is getting much better. i could even use the elliptical without holding on for dear life the entire time. (I held on for dear life for most of the time though ;))

my knee hurts on the left. i will speak with the trainer about this. i am taking glucosamine to help with this problem.

really want to run a 5K by May and run a half marathon is the ultimate goal. All the body benefits from the goal are wonderful for me. This also allows me to set a good example for my children. Well, this is the goal anyway.

hugs to you all.

Just remember you are beautiful no matter what in the eyes of the Lord despite what man's expectations of our body are.

It's good to see you working on your goal. Keep us posted on how the running is going.

so mlg, what is your goal for this year or for this quarter? I like to set long and short term goals so that I can keep moving along with my life.

exercise went well today. i walked on the stair machine as best as I could. I am happy with small results - in other words, i didn't fall off of it and no one had to come rescue me. quite frankly, sometimes this is the goal of the day. or should i say my goal while at the gym. anywhoosie, what can one do but to keep pushing forward. so forward i go.

i was given 2 magazines while at the gnc store. I thought to my self, "wow, those women look great. wonder if i can do that? wonder if i can do some of that?" Shortly thereafter, I returned to reality and thought, " wonder if i can survive the machines without getting my shoe laces caught in them, and the management of the gym needing to call the paramedics :o. "

yeah, perhaps i should keep this goal simple. i think i'll pitch those magazines. hugs everyone, have a good night.

let me know what your goals are for the quarter or the year or even for the next 20minutes. sometimes, i can only plan for the next 20minutes. sometimes, i am struggling with that too. it's okay, though. that's life.

Awww that is so kind of you to ask my goals...I've never had anyone ask me that before.

My goals...well as you may or may not know...in September I began teaching children's Sunday School...and for the quarter I want to teach them all the books of the Bible in order for them to be able to recite from member. So pray for me, cuz this may be a bit tough.

Personal goals...well...I have some that are worldly and some Spiritual. A worldly goal I have is that a month ago I received a huge invitation to serve on a National Committee for an organization I belong to through work. This was a very exciting invitation for me professionally...and I should begin work on this committee soon...so I hope I am up for the task and can see this year long commitment through.

Spiritually...I want to continue to study the Word on a daily basis...some days I get "busy" and miss my morning reading...and my goal is to get where I can not miss it. Also, I have some healing that I am going through in my calling...and I hope I can get through it so I can again do what God calls me to do without anything holding me back.

So that's about it for now. Thank you again for asking about me.

luv ya

mlg wow, nice goals.

how is work life balance playing into maintaining your aspirations? Exercise helps me sleep better, and stabalizes my emotions so that I can handle stress better. I know the Bible reading helps me stay calm and focussed but what else are you doing? What are you doing for fun?

I am asking because I think alll to often we as Christian women end up feeling guilty or doing activities that someone else should be picking up and doing. Sometimes, it is more than enough to be a mother, daughter, employee or employer.

Please enjoy yourself with all your goals and take care of yourself also. The kids will never forget learning the books of the Bible. I think that is my favorite of your goals. Very wonderful indeed.
