Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. Is that all we get? lol

What a cool birdie in your avatar. :) He/she must be a lot of fun. My husband and I had a cockatiel. It was our first pet after we married. Brought us a lot of laughs.

Lesson 12
Short lesson about getting up today. That's actually one that hasn't given me much trouble.

I am fortunate, exceedingly blessed, in having the absolute confidence that my earthly father would love me through anything. If I was on death row, he would be there whenever they would let him.

My children have that kind of confidence in our love for them - we may not be able to help them when they need it - but we will be there.

That makes getting up, or even just talking to God while being down, so much easier. The greatest pain that we can give to God is in ignoring Him or running from Him.

When a person hasn't ever experienced faithful earthly love, having faith in the love of God must be enormously difficult. I cannot imagine.

Tricky, tricky.... moving from one session to the next like that. :)
Went through the first lesson in the next session. I will keep writing here.

Love ya'll.

I really enjoy getting to know you. *Whistle*

Actually, I can't whistle, except by putting my fingers in my mouth and letting out something you can hear blocks away. My kids hated it when I'd do that. Got them to come when I called and not pretend they didn't hear me. :)
