My stepping stone 1

Postby Guest » Wed Nov 24, 2010 11:54 pm

HI All,

Im trying th first step, sharing my thoughts.

lets start with my history.

I am a 24 year old female, i have 1 sister who is 16 and a brother who is 10. My father died when i was a couple of months old. My mother got remarried and divorced 5 years ago. i have alot of problems with my mother, we dont really have a relationship and and we hardly even talk, even to say helloo is alot. im a very reserved person, dont talk much and i tend to keep my feelings in. My mother has a gambling problem and that causing alot of stress on myself.

I recently ended my 6 year long relationship with my former boyfriend in december 2009. I started a new relationship in May 2010. My ex-boyfriend constantly tormented and worried me. I blocked all my feelings for my ex out. Now after 5 months with the new boyfriend I realise that i still have so much feelings for my old boyfriend and i dnt know what to do. i have ended things with my new boyfriend and he is not taking it very well, he's actually talking suicide.

I am so confused I feel that i can talk to anyone because I dont know what they will think of me. I wait on God and his guidance. Im so lost

Hello Carmey :)

Welcome to Christianity Oasis, and may God bless you this day.

I'm glad to hear you are doing the 14-Day Path Study, also called the CCCC Study. It will help you to find out more about yourself and how God sees you, and even give you some tools to help you in living out this life, in preparation for eternal life with Almighty God.

Jesus Christ is The Word of God...The Bible. He left us His blessed Word to help us along this path.

I know the challenges of life can seem overwhelming at times, but God wants to help you to overcome.

I'm sending up prayers to our Lord, in the name of Jesus, on your behalf. May God's blessed will be done.

Continue reading The Study and posting, and I, and others, will be coming along to lend you spiritual and loving support.

Remember, Jesus loves you.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

WELCOME HOME CARMEY!!
I want to say this first, stay with the steps and follow all of what it tells you
you are so young and have so much life still to live I hope the Lord can show you what you mean to Him and allow you to start living for Him and yourself, as for these boyfriends, keep them both lifted in prayer but this is your relationship with God and let Him take care of the rest.
as for the ex feelings you don't spend any amount of time with someone and not have some kind of attachment, but is the way he treated you the way God intended you to be treated....I don't think so, but that is in Gods hands now He will deal with that you need to keep your focus on the Lord and everything else will fall into place.
I pray that you will soon have a good relationship with your mother, and here again take this to the Lord in prayer and allow Him to show you what He wants you to do and hopefully soon your mother will see what she is missing.
You are about to meet some very wonderful people and these people are going to show you what unconditional love is and they have SO much more knowledge than I do. THERE IS NO JUDGEMENT HERE! the love you are about to feel through this website is as GODLY as I have ever felt and I believe that is because the people on here TRULY care! I want you to know I will be praying for you along with so many others on here, Just so you know your being lifted in prayer.
Keep your focus on the studies and our Lord and let Him take care of the rest.
God bless
Cuc
LET GO AND LET GOD!!
