Hello Babs *hug*

Amen! Amen!! Amen!!!

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Woooooooohooooooo!!!!!!!

In today's "instant" society, we forget that it's God's timing, not ours.

Amen! Wait upon The Lord!!! He is well worth the wait.

Thank you, Babs *hug*

Thank You, Holy Spirit.

Today is a new day!

Postby Guest » Fri Nov 05, 2010 11:44 am

All this week, I have been tossing, turning, sleepless, restless, in torment and fighting...until last night. I got up, paced the floors, did spiritual battle in my mind, was up for two hours. Since I couldn't sleep, I decided to go to day 14. I read through that, let it all soak in, prayed and asked for rest. I slept like a baby and woke feeling like a new person! I feel more like me! I didn't realize what a grip the enemy had on me! Don't want to go there ever again! God is so good I feel an urgency to teach my children God's law and love. I know that life is full of trials and tribulations but with the Holy Spirit's guide, life will be much sweeter.

Notice it wasn't until you sought out God and Godly things and reached for Him in prayer...that you felt the peace to sleep....next time instead of fighting the battle alone...go to Him FIRST!

luv ya *hug*
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

You're absolutely right! I should have the knowledge that I am never alone!I do but just don't choose to recognise it. I completed the steps but I think that I may need to repeat them. I'm probably going to wait until Monday. I'll seek God and see what Hewould have me to do--not of my own choosing! Do you think I've made any progress? I certainly do. I have so many questions--guess I'll go pray!
Thanks to everyone that has helped me along the past couple of weeks. I'll return soon.
Love,
babs

What I think I'm supposed to do...

Postby Guest » Sun Nov 07, 2010 6:46 pm

O.K. As mentioned, I went through all 14 steps. I tried to take a sabbath rest but could not resist viewing other sites and posts. Commenting and trying to encourage as I felt lead to do so.
I now feel that God would have me to do the steps, again, not only once but twice making a total of 3 rounds through the steps! I haven't heard when I am to have eye surgery, yet. It may be another month away! If sooner, well, I'll just let God handle that for me. Oh! I read a post today from Oasis "Central" (sorry I forget what the title of it is) my! Did it ever bring conviction and revelation! I am getting closer but I am so far from the place that I should be. I let myself be so deceived. I know that I am not alone in this walk. Thanks to all who prayed, who reached out and helped me to make it through the first round. God bless you all!

:) I always feel so excitement in your words. Excitement for the Lord and His work.

Praying for you babs. *Pray* God bless and keep you.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
