I am as you, God, know all to well at a point where I am just so frustrated. I know that I am moving to the next level in my walk with you and that is why this is all getting so intense.
I guess I just need to vent.
Work has been difficult with coworkers who act like school children and one of my clients is reacting to my stress in a negative way. I am at the point where I just don't want to be there.
If it weren't for you God I wouldn't have made it this far and I know you will get me the rest of the way. I just ask for that peace that passes understanding to keep me grounded.

Thank you Jesus, your an awesome friend

Hello ljeanne :)

Welcome to Christianity Oasis. It is always a pleasure to get to know another child of God.

Have you considered doing the 14-Day Path / Counseling Study (also known as the CCCC Study)? It is an awesome Study that has helped many, many souls, myself included. :)

Here is the link, if you are interested: http://www.christianityoasis.com/CCCC/Forum.htm

I'm looking forward to seeing you around the site.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ Jesus' love,

I just started the 14 day study.

I know there are a lot of lies I have believed and a lot of hurts that I haven't rooted out of my life.
I need to be more disciplined with my mind and work harder to renew it.

*Wave* Hello!

I want to WELCOME you to the OASIS of Christians who are looking for help as you in overcoming the everyday problems. *Crazy* :) It's like you never know what tomorrow brings... right? Well, with the LORD you don't have to worry what tomorrow brings! We all know that satan is definitely going to bring us as many trials & tribulations he can everyday but that's OKAY!!! How else are we going to have ALL the VICTORIES??? *WooHoo*

I was reminded by Joyce Meyer one day about my attitude around non-Christians no matter where I am! Here is a simple answer.... SMILE no matter HOW many problems satan throws at you that day. Remember who you serve and how GREAT GOD IS!

I will tell you from experience of being a Teacher for 10yrs & Secretary for about 10 yrs. Every place I ever worked this is what everyone asked me all the time... even patients at the Drs. offices I would work at. They asked this, "Do you EVER have a bad day?" ... "I never see you without a smile on your face!" HUMMMMM.... let me tell you .... I DID HAVE BAD DAYS... I DID HAVE TRIALS DURING THE DAY... I DID HAVE PEOPLE THAT MADE ME WANT TO .... WELL.. YOU KNOW... LOL But here is why I always LOOKED like I NEVER had a BAD DAY or a PROBLEM in the world. I would remember who I was REPRESENTING everyday... and to always remember that if I was upset with someone, it wasn't the other persons fault that I was upset .. so why take it out on them! ;)

My husband was the same way and we taught our kids to NEVER take their problems to work or take it out on anyone one at work if they are having a bad day. Guess what? Every place my kids work, the thing they hear all the time is the same thing I heard and still hear. AMAZING HUH? Not really! You are just going to have to TRUST GOD and ask Him to help you everyday to show you when you are having an attitude, then to change it immediately. You will realize before long... your going to be the same way. It can be done! You not only will feel blessed & at peace about everything... but you will see others around you wanting to find out how are you soo happy all the time. Then the TRUTH... that it is only by the GRACE OF GOD!

I hope this has helped you in seeing what you can do with yourself. I will be praying the Lord lead your way and show you how easy it is to do! Life is what we make it... are we going to have people enjoy being around us or wanting to run the other way when they see us coming? *ThumbsUp*

Like Ciny said... bear your burdens here on this site where other Christians will not only understand but try and give you a pep talk so you can deal with life better everyday!

You have an awesome and blessed day...
Love in Christ,
Linda

Well I am going to try to do the chart that was in the renewing the mind link from step two.
I like the idea of keeping track of what I do to tend to my mind, spirit and body.

I know I need to start exercising that's one for the body and eating healthier.
Praying reading the bible and reading other christian books are for the mind and spirit.
I also have scriptures on index cards that I like to read-that would be for the mind
Praise is for the spirit.
I have a painting in mind that i haven't done yet based on the verse in Isaiah 58!! "like a watered garden" I guess that could be for the mind.
I'll have to think on some more but it's a start.

Just had an amazing time with forgiveness. I realize that there was a lot I had not forgiven myself for, and as I went along forgiving and releasing I felt God's presence so strongly.
I didn't even realize how much I held against myself.

Forgiving others- that is not so easy. When I think I have, circumstances prove I have not. Then I have to try again to forgive and release it to God.
Maybe that is what Jesus meant when he said to forgive seventy times seven. The number seven in the bible represents completion. We are to go above and beyond just saying we forgive and thinking we forgive, we have to keep it going each time something comes up to remind us or tempt us to take it again and keep letting it go.

Ugh! Will I ever get it?
