"Good morning precious," he would say to me each day with a smile and a hug to start off the morning. Oh how I will miss those words, that smile and that hug. My friend went to meet my Jesus today, and I know in my heart that word precious was being said for HIM today, no longer meant for me.

Precious Lord, take my hand, lead me on, let me stand, I am tired, I am weak, I am worn, thru the storm, thru the night, lead me on to the light, take my hand precious Lord Lead me home.

I can hear my friend singing it now as the Lord led him home today.

I will miss my dear friend, I have wept, and I have rejoiced. Tomorrow will be easier for me, I know.

My dear Lord, how you have taken home a good man to be with you, and in return you have given him relief from his painful ailement.

I thank you Lord for allowing this man's path to cross mine, as a good friend I was blessed with. I thank you Lord for taking him home, as I know he was suffering much here. I thank you Lord for your son Jesus who I know gave my friend an eternal life with you in your house, and therefore I know one day, I will see my friend again.
