Holy Spirit will speak to you if you listen...how often we get ourselves into a moment where we can't hear Him...and we wonder why...and often it's because we won't be still long enough to hear Him...as we allow all the other thoughts in our mind to clutter up where His voice is and it muffles Him...but when we truly open our mind and just rest and listen...this is when we know He is near and can hear what He shares.

Keep listening sis.

luv ya

Day 12
Falling Down

Yes I agree we are all going to slip and fall down sometimes. That is not the issue. The issue here is that what happens when I do fall down. Most of the time (before) when I have fallen down, the enemy has attacked me and I have just allowed him to beat me near to death. I gave up once down. WHat is the use if I am going to get knocked back down again. That was my old thinking. Why fight?
Well since doing the steps this time, I have a different prespective. I am going to come out fighting when knocked down. I am not going to stay down. I have learned that we do need people and that we do need a strong support system. Someone that will be honest and pray with us. I have foud that here and I am slowly learning to lean on that.
But more than that..I am learning to lean on HIM. He is my strength and my source He will hold my hand and pick me up when I am down.
so Leaning on Him I am learning is the best way to go. DOn't run from HIm but run to Him.

Oh how beautiful it is to read of the hope that you have now through the love of Jesus! I think that sometimes we allow ourselves to get so caught in the pit that we do think it would be easier to just give up...but in reality as you can now see it's not...it's easier to fight the good fight with Jesus on the front line!

You are doing great sis. God is smiling upon you.

luv ya dearly *hug*

I like that every time you get up, you are stronger and the enemy can't get at you that way anymore. Now to get to that spot before he gets a chance to knock you down *BigGrin*

Day 13 Fellowship

Secluding yourself and not having interactions with other human beings is not what God had in mind for us. I have done that for years. Been a loner and thought I was enjoying it. I have learned that is not the way and to have friends around you that care for you and pray for you and that you can care for and pray with are awesome. To have friends around that you can talk about God with is even more awesome.

Gotta to get out and find a church and make it my home so that I can stay among fellow christians out here in the real world. You guys are good but gotta have face to face fellowship.

Don't gotta change my friends because I really didn't have any, but gotta get out and make new one. This idea of fellowship to be honest with you really does scare me some but fear is not of God. Being here is a safe place because there is a screen between us. Being out there face to face you start getting hit with all the what if's again but just gotta keep shooting them down and think about what I am missing since God wants us to have fellowship one with another.

Doing this study this time around has really shown me a lot of stuff. Stuff that maybe I thought was ok but God says no! Stuff that I thought hat I could hide and not have to face, but God said no! I am so thankful to God for all you guys here and for what you all mean to me. Thank you for being honest even tho I know at times it could have been hard.
I ask that you hold me accountable and you ALWAYS be honest with me even if you think it will hurt my feelings because I never want to go back from where I have come from but only want to keep pressing forward.

Tam, I was wondering do you have a home church that you go too?

Tam I think that for too long the enemy has had you believing his lies and doing everything he can to keep you "hidden" from reaching out to people on a face to face basis...but now that you are stepping out into the Light...you know that God is with you always...through all situations...and that if you will allow Him to guide you then all will be ok.

luv ya

Sadly mlg I don't I have a church that I go to on the internert that I like to call home but that is not the same. I love Pastor Tom and I love to hear Him sare about Jesus. That is an awesome place. BUt maybe it is time for that to come to an end and me find a local church that I can get involved in.
I have a Baptist church not 5 minutes from my home that keeps coming to mind. My daughter goes to VBS there every year. So thinking I may go and visit tomorrow. IF the family wants to go that it good and if not...I can do this right?
I get butterflies in my stomach just thinking about going alone but God is bigger and once I take the initial step then next time it will be easier. :)
