Stages of Spiritual Growth, Part 7

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

Stages of Spiritual Growth, Part 7

Hello All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

Hope you all are doin' great today!

Although the possibilities at stage 7 may be boundless, the most significant aspect is that we have become a father, and we are privileged at some point to come into the presence of our Lord of Lords, King of KIngs, Lord God Almighty loving Dad. We have fellowship with Him in the perfection of His love, and the witness of the Apostle John, that indeed God is love, is verified. At this time the love of God is shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit like never before. We are speechless in His presence, dumbstruck as we understand that our Heavenly Father is the pure essence of love, loves originator, that His very nature and character is permeated with love. And when He leaves us, He leaves us full of His love for all, and we know that His commandment to us is love.

And where before much of the New Testament seemed quite beyond our ability to understand, now the process of enlightenment begins. We got to know our spirit in stage 6, now our spirit begins to receive from the Holy Spirit that which our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would have us know. We are given the spirit of wisdom and knowledge in the revelation of our Lord. We awake each morning with a new revelation, a new vision in understanding of the Word of God. This process of enlightenment may last as long as a year.

Then comes absolute submission to the Lord. Such doesn't happen all at once, but as we progress knowing we have become of the sons of God, we realize, as our Lord demonstrated, that we must be obedient, even to the death of the cross. There is no turning back. We press on in our love for God. We must accept whatever comes our way.

Rom.8

[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first born among many brethren.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
