Day 3 the Path

Postby sbennett » Tue Sep 21, 2010 9:43 pm

 Oh what a day. Not only do I battle with the hurt of my sins....the missing of the attention of the wrong man....but today people at work made me feel so bad. Its hard to work with people (some Ive know all my life) that just don't like me. *sigh*

Day 3 on my path is about GRACE and being forgiven. PRAISE GOD for forgiveness. God sent his son to die for ME so my sins are forgiven. With sin we bring problems on ourselves. Boy is that right...the further I went away from God...the deeper I took myself into the sin...the more problems I began to have. Still dealing with them. My mind my heart and my soul hurt so bad. I hate all the sadness...I want joy. It is hard to let go of the sin...and harder to forgive myself. My flesh is so weak.

Pray that I will FEEL forgiveness....and begin to feel joy in the LORD and not in my sin.

Luke 7:47 Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, [the same] loveth little.

She didn't care who saw, what they said, or if they drug her out and threw her on the street. She had to receive Jesus.

Your sin may not be the same as this womans, yet you carry them as if they are. To great to let them go? The greater the sin the greater the need for Jesus. And you know His blood covered them all.

Luk 7:48 And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven.

*hug* praying for you. *Pray*
Jesus loves you and so do I!
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

sbennet, You know what I see? I see a beautiful soul covered up by the temptations of the enemy...I see a butterfly still in the cocoon...I know she wants to fly free...and forgivness is the way...forgive those who persecute you at work...and remember what they say and do does not define who you are...only God does...so please God and not people...and there you will find joy always.

I see your story, and I can't help but think how God wants to turn it into a beautiful testimony...one of a woman who fell into sin...climbed back out and carried on to help another who is where she has been.

Keep pushing through the steps sbennet, you can do this.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Thank you for the encouragement. It means a lot to me. I feel like the ugly caterpillar but I sooooo want to be the butterfly! I keep praying for that. I know God can get me there.

Again, thank you!
