Well, I guess I'll get straight to the point. I am struggling with fear, anxiety, lack of self control, and losing my temper. I have always been hot headed and impatient. I tend to be very argumentative if I feel I'm right. But I have been working on that to no avail. My two main things I am fighting is fear and lack of self control. I hate when I am scared and feel like I can't control my own body sometimes...well a lot of times. It's not that I really want to and even when I lose control it hurts me. I always ask for forgiveness because my heart feels broken.

The funny thing is that before this, none of these things really bothered me. Now, I can magnify 100x how much messing up bothers me. I have been praying and speaking with God. Holy Spirit lead me here, so I hope that this will help me overcome these strongholds so I can progress my relationship with God. :oops:

rosegall, welcome to the Oasis! We are delighted to have you here. Rosegall, I am so glad you want to work on growing your relationship with God, as well as work learning to be less you and more Him. I think often anger and self control issues comes from unresolved pain and hurts we have been through...and have been left to simmer until they come out as a lash against others. I believe you are on the right path to help you overcome the problems in your life and to find that true healing can be found in Jesus.

rosegall, the best thing you can do is take a moment and ask Holy Spirit what to do before blowing up or having fear. It is great that you know he is there to guide you so remember to ask him and you will be free quicker.

Thanks for your responses. They are very encouraging. I was so nervous to post them because I am used to the judgement of others. This is definitely what I need especially right now as I am still in transformation. But thanks for your replies and God bless all of you.
