I've been clean and sober for almost 11 years but I have allowed other addictions to fill the space in my life that those once filled. It never gets easier to escape. Alcohol and drugs were hard but socially acceptable. Sexual addiction (which I struggle with now) is not socially acceptable and harder to seek help for. Knowing who to trust and who not too. I know freedom is possible but having trouble getting there.....praying for wisdom and strength to make it out.......

How did you get there?

What was your first steps?

Remember the first 24 hours with out your fix?

May of felt like you were not going to survive that day. Remember?

Moment by moment. Making it till 10am then till noon then till 1pm so on and so forth till you got through day ONE! Then all over again for day 2. At some point it got a bit easier. With some days that were back to moment by moment again.

This addiction is no different than the other. You get out Moment by Moment.

You can do this. Through Christ who gives you strength.

its been 7 for me i proud of you rember that is a great accomplishmnet and you are being a witness to God for sharin this,you are an encouragemnet to us all.you can get thru the other stuff to in Jesus name
