Baked potato wedges

Postby lizzie » Sun Aug 29, 2010 1:43 pm

Hmm... i kinda feel like ive posted this already but i dunno... i cant remember

Ok this is fast and simple and yummy. Good with bbq anything.

Cut potatoes in half, then each half into three or four wedges (according to size).

Boil em in salted water till fork tender (not falling away from the skin)

Then drain, lay on a baking sheet thats been greased. Roast em in your oven for about 15 - 20 mins, flippin em over until you get a nice crunchy brown crust on each side. Remove and sprinkle with a coarse salt. This needs to be served right out of the oven so u get the crunchity crunch.

You can sprinkle just about anything on this, paprika, parsley whatever you like. I prefer it plain and then i pour some garlic sauce over it, or add a lil garlic butter to it.

Healthier than the fried ones.

Yummmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

I love tators!!!

Another twist...try them with a little Old Bay Seasoning sprinkled on them, after tossing the tators with some olive or canola oil, on a sheet pan in the oven.

Yummmmmmmmmmmm!!!

I'll have one scoop of each, ty. *hug*

God bless you all.
Love,
Mack

YUMMMMM YUMMMMMM!

Here is yet another scrumpous way...
We use an iron kettle with a lid for this on

cut potatoes into bite size wedges put them in your sink......add handfulls of butter ( gotta have enough so that they won't stick)
season potatoes with Tony's and garlic
Cut onions and green peppers into tiny pieces.....mix all together
place lid on and place in over or grill, stir occassionally when tators are tender...enjoy.

We survived on these during Katrina. Cooked them on the grill and everyone made themselves sick lol
Even in the hardest of times...He is there holding our hand
