The Spiritual Dynamic of Believing

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

The Spiritual Dynamic of Believing

Hello All,

Blessings!

Spiritual Dynamics! Awesome! We call them dynamics because they are full of spiritual power! And because spiritual dynamics are full of power they really are the keys that unlock the Kingdom of Heaven. We said that dynamic number 1 was to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. We discussed those dynamics needed to find our Heavenly Father and receive His righteousness. We learned that we receive both Him and His righteousness through faith. This spiritual dynamic is called believing.

Believing is a Kingdom of Heaven action because it has its beginning in our heart and culmination in our speaking. Believing is the most basic and essential of all spiritual dynamics!

John.17

[20] Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
[21] That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (All Bible references are KJV unless otherwise stated).

Rom.10

[4] For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth
[9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

But such is only the beginning of our believing. We must keep on believing as in so doing we will be led by the Holy Spirit into ever higher and higher experiences and understandings of His Truth. The more we believe, the more we will experience, know, and understand that all taught us in scripture is a progressive revelation of our Heavenly Father Himself through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

But there are certainly problems with believing. Some of us believe that because of baptism at birth we have been saved and that is the end of the matter. We live out our entire lives and never experience, know, or understand anything more about our Heavenly Father on this earth and His Kingdom than that. How sad!

Some of us believe everything that the pastor of our denomination has taught us without ever challenging what we have been taught by reading and acting on what scripture tells us to do. We drag ourselves to church on Sundays, listen to meaningless sermons that have nothing to do with the Kingdom of Heaven, pray lifeless, boring prayers, take communion, feel clean afterward for about an hour, and that's the sum total of our spiritual experience for the week. For some it is for their entire lifetime! How sad!

We often wonder why we do this, as we do not experience any evidence that the Word of God is alive in us, that Jesus our Lord brought the Kingdom of God with Him when He came, and that such good news believed brings to us all The Good Book promises. How sad!

Believe is an action word. True believing is a powerful dynamic that produces Kingdom of Heaven experience in our lives. True believing continued leads us into ever higher and higher heights of experience, knowledge, love, joy, and peace. True believing brings spiritual maturity, and with such comes the greatest knowledge of all, that being knowing our Heavenly Dad personally and intimately.

The Spiritual Dynamic of Believing is an action word. Isn't it high time we became passionate about our believing in God?

Love, In Christ Jesus, Saint701.
It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
