1. [14] But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

Luke.18

1. [17] Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

Do you happen to be one of the many young or old of this day that think the darkness which surrounds them is an inescapable prison from which there is no return? If so, I encourage you to read this message, as such will not only give you hope, but be the pathway you choose to take back into our Lord's most marvelous light.

There aren't many books in libraries or bookstores that truly portray Jesus in the light of the love that exists in His glorious Kingdom. Nor are there many men or women anywhere on earth that each day shine His light among men as though He fills them up entirely as He is.

Be that as it may, however, our Lord's Divine Nature is still available to us almost beyond what we can think or comprehend, even those thinking they have slipped beyond redemption.

For this cause, I relate my own story not only to give you hope, but a pathway back to God.

I write this story for you youthful wild things already thinking you have been overcome by the darkness in the world. And I write this story for you much older wild things that sit perplexed at all of the misfortune that has befallen you. I write to you, young and old, to point out that there is a common thread of understanding you have overlooked that explains your misfortunes, and will convince you that you are not lost as you think.

I will start by asking a few questions. Was there a time as a small, albeit, cognizant child that you remember being baptized? Or was there a time when you were young that you went forward in a church service to receive the Lord? Have you ever recommitted your life to the Lord? Have you ever been born again? Have you ever been filled with the Holy Spirit and spoken with other tongues?

Though in your teens, 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's...do you still feel as though there is a small child in you? When I was 10 years old my dad took me to a week long revival meeting at the First Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ, a mid western denomination), in our small city of some 10,000, somewhere, Missouri.

Prior to the revival we 10 year olds were placed in a special class and taught about the death of Jesus on the Cross for our sins, and His resurrection into glory. We were taught about the significance of water baptism and prepared to take the plunge on the Sunday morning following the last night of the revival.

I listened intently to everything I was taught and when it came time for me to be baptized, I answered the minister of the Lord that I believed in Jesus and accepted His death on my behalf that I might receive His life in me. I really didn't know how God would change me by my act of faith, but I did believe I would receive new life. I did.

I immediately felt a crisp cleanness on the inside of me that wasn't there before. The sensation wasn't bizarre or odd and I really didn't think much about it. What I did take notice of, however, was a more willingness on my part to give and share, and a keen sense of showing honor to God in a more reverent way than I dreamed I was capable of.

I found myself doing unnatural things..after the revival and baptism we were all shipped off to Bible camp...while there, having never cleaned a room in my life, I cleaned the cabin where I stayed, had my 3 bunk mates make up their beds neatly, fluff their pillows, and place their Bible just beneath it opened wide. Surprisingly, upon inspection, we won first prize for cleanliness...
