Amen...and He can and will do just as you believe...see we must believe in order to receive...and when we have Faith in what the Lord can do...we can move mountains through Him. Good to see you seeing clearly just how powerful God really is...and also it's great to see you wanting to allow Him to have His proper place in helping you through.

stepping stone seven

Postby glassdigger » Sun May 16, 2010 5:37 pm

Its been a very rough weekend for me. It started out wonderful. Picked up my beautiful granddaughter Bella Friday night, went out to eat, then spent the evening snuggled up on the coach eating popcorn watching thumbleleena. The next morning we went yard saleing and found some really cool toys then went to see my daughter who is very, very pregnant. Later on I went to visit a new friend who had been hospitalized for attempting suicide. We had a wonderful visit and spent much time praying together. Right before the visit I got a phone call from the sheriff asking me were he could serve me with divorce papers. Wow! I knew it was going to happen but somewhere in me I still had hope that my husband would change his mind. I cried for about 20 minutes before going to see my friend. After I dropped Bella off I went home to relax planning on doing step 7. When I got to the house the door was unlocked. I thought it was a little strange but sometimes I do forget. I started to cleanup when I realized that my sons key was on the counter. There was also money left on the counter that I had left for him that morning. Something told me to check my safe. Thats when I found out that it, and every dime I had was gone. Over 2200 dollars. My son had takin it all. In shock I knew that I could not stay here. I would get myself into a very serious stinky thinkin mess. So I went last night to church and stayed with christian friends who would help me to pray threw this. Then to church again this morning then with friends again. We prayed and prayed and prayed. I will not let this event take root within me. I will not entertain the evil one with misery from me!!! Step 7 today was just the counsel I needed today! I will not waste another minute off my life without forgiving them. God will care for my needs regardless.
God doesn't make mistakes.

I see this as God helping you to let go of all the past to start new.
Too bad it had to come all at once but breaking those ties and forgiving quickly will help healing come faster.
After the healing comes all the good that He needs you to do. Love that you are helping at the women's shelter... just right for you.

One other thing came to mind, sometimes the enemy will use someone to get to you because he knows that you are a threat to him. Your husband, unfortunately wasn't strong enough to see this and fight it off...gave in to the flesh. Make sense?

Stepping stone eight

Postby glassdigger » Mon May 17, 2010 8:24 pm

God is good all the time!!!! I smile as I read step 8, after step 7 it was no surprise . God really wants me to understand the battle field of the mind. What goes in, what stays, how it gets there, and what to kick out and how to do this. I can't wait to share this program with the lady's at the shelter! Its like putting on the armor of God. Learning not to let bad seeds take root in my mind led me to write about Gods love on my facebook page last night. Within a few hours I got a call from a close friend of mine who is not yet saved, she had just lost her job a few days before and was feeling really sad, when she saw my post she called me in tears asking about the Lord and has agreed to go to church with me on Thursday.PRAISE GOD!!!I want to thank all my precious siblings in Christ again for all your support and comments. ;) [/url]
