Doing better. Definitely on the mend emotionally, which is a good thing. Now then, I need to ditch my sudoku obsession and focus on a Bible reading obsession. Satan is always ready with a bad substitute.

I attended my support group and that went very well, Friday night.

I was planning on spending time scrapbooking with my girlfriend on Saturday night but I needed to take care of my dog's needs. I was responsible. I took care of the dog. She slept well and so did I.

As for work, well, I'll deal with that as gently as possible. My one friend was fired. He should have been counseled definitely. Maybe, he should have lost his job, but, I don't think he should have encountered all the turmoil that he did while employed with the company. I don't think that my colleagues were proper in how they worked with him. Not at all. I am sleeping well at night knowing that I didn't have anything to do with their actions.

As for everything else with work and home. I'm okay. And today, that is good enough.

His grace is sufficient for thee sis....and that is what one day at a time is about. Sounds like you have found a bit of peace..something you definitely needed. I'm not sure if you have ever done any of the counseling programs here...but there is this step called Miracle Grow and it has a chart that will help you with staying on track with God...balancing life time with God time...it's really awesome.

Good to hear from you sis...have a great week.

luv ya

*Pray* *Pray* *Pray*

Oh dear, *Pray* ing is definitely on my mind right now. I have to dig into the finances today. I am a bit concerned. Hmmm, perhaps that is an understatement. I'm very concerned.

I'm reading Matthew 18 these days. I think it's Matthew chapter 18. I reading about forgiveness. Our children are learning about forgiveness too. Number 2 child very unhappy with number 1 child. Did I say very unhappy? I meant VERY UNHAPPY!!!! (sigh)

Anyway, the lesson for the children was about me being fired from one job last year. I had to and am still learning to forgive the people who fired me. I shared this with the boys and we discussed my challenges of choosing to forgive. I heard about this on Family Life Radio. It worked. The lesson shared helped both them and me. We all benefitted.

My heart is still heavy for other issues in our lives. So I would very much appreciate the prayers of anyone willing to pray. Thank you.

none the less, God is still good,

Digging into the finances . . . turned into an excavation. I found things I didn't expect necessarily. I don't understand. So far, no tears but, I am more concerned than before in some ways.

Thank you everyone for all the prayers. Mlg, thank you especially for being so faithful to check in on me. I truly need this.

I had given up on my accountant. I didn't think we would be able to work together at all; however, she called me this evening. It was a wonderful surprise. I was very grateful. I explained things to her and she listened patiently and quietly. She and I will be communicating via my cellphone privately now. I am scheduled to meet her in person later.

I didn't expect what I found in some ways. I guess I knew things weren't quite right but . . . now what??? And so I *Pray*. It isn't the money so much really. It's the deceit.

*hug* whispering...I understand the way you feel...my exhusband used to do "funny" things with our finances...and it was like an up and down roller coaster all the time...what I want to suggest is to take one step at a time...making sure to sort out the priorities in the finances and those things that can wait or be put aside for now....don't let yourself be too overwhelmed...God will help you through it all. You are going to be ok...I know you are.

luv ya sis

Not to many tears - but some.

I spoke with one of my prayer partners and explained the situation to her. I asked her recommendation: she immediately suggested vodka.

This is my friend whose hardest drink is nyquil only if she's on her death-bed with bronchitis and the rest of us are sharing with her our children's nebulizer medicine!!! Other than that, she's like me and strickly a tea and coffee drinker.

I made constant comment tea.

I don't mind the making of a mistake and cashing in the investments not realizing the tax hit. What bothers me is the deceit of the other accounts. I didn't know there were others. The missing bank statements that I've been piece mealing together.

I'll go make my sweet tea. I think I have lemon juice from my lemons, somewhere in the fridge.
luv ya.

I know it's hard sis...but you also must sit down and talk to your husband about these things if that is possible...he obviously isn't very good with finances...sorry you are going through all of this.

*hug* Praying for you.
