wow what an up lift right when you needed. I was questioning why I was begining to feel oppressed again and bam! there the answer was.
We have done a lot of work weeding our graden and we have plant really cool stuff there. but the old weeds can try to come back and replant themself. It's not that they have root, it just they have returned to see if your done and not paying attention to that area anymore.

Well I had to spend some time this morning pulling back up some weeds that have tried to re-root. I feel so great so much better. this program is anionted by God!

I think I am going to have to build a tool shed to keep all my new tools in. i am acumualating so many new and sharp tools. lol

Bad habits now I have quit a few. some have been with me my whole life or as long as I can remember. I am having to pray about this one. Because when you are aware of the bad habits they seem to be unending and can overwhelm you. ( am not overwhelm) I will be adding the 40 day chart to my miracel grow chart. This will not be and over night process I am aware of that. so i bring it into prayer for the Holy Spirit to reveal which one is the most important to deal with? I have many bad habits and I want to deal with them all today, but I got this tool you see so I will take one at a time. Once I know which one then I will write that down and move forward with each one the Holy Spirit reveals to me.

I was very impressed with the " what is between me and God. I just can't let there be anything between two us. And I will never look again at things the same. Like a friend introducing me to someone I know is not in God will for me. The though is what harm can come from just looking?
It puts that between me and God.

Hey sandra...step 9 already? wow...you are moving along...

Sis you are so right...those nasty weeds will come back and try to replant themselves...and sometimes the twin of the weed you already pulled will appear and try to plant themselves as well. Our garden requires daily tending sis...

I encourage you to work on the breaking of a habit. This will make you feel as if you have a purpose in what you are doing for God...and it will be easier knowing God will be so proud of you once you have got past the habit.

Keep pushing forward sis...just a few more days to go.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

breaking bad habits

Postby huelsingbroad » Mon May 03, 2010 8:12 pm

tips from biblical counseling.
1. identify what the sinful habit is. see it as GOD sees it as sin, repent and seek forgiveness.
2. memorize what the bible has to say about it.this is scriptural according to ehp 4:22(most can be found in gal 5:19-21)
3. memorize what righteous habits you must replace the other with according to eph 4:23, 24 (search eph 4:25-30) whichever verse applies to your problem.
NOTE: these verses have to become a part of you, like your name DOB or SSN. practice them, post them is places you pass or occupy often in a way that will grab your attention

in order to break sinful habits, they must be replaced with righteous ones.
remember the parable of the evil spirit that was cast out of the house and could not find a place to inhabit so he went back to that place and found it swept clean, he took with him 7 spirits more wicked than himself and the last state of that man was worse than the first.
remember john 5:14 Jesus told the man after he was made whole to go his way and sin no more lest a worse thing come upon him.

GOD will keep you, he is faithful
