a new day

this week the LORD impressed upon me the importance of obedience. not only in my alone time, but thru questions from babes in Christ. we as Christians are not bound by the civil and ceremonial law of the jews, but we are morally bound to live as Christ. open and willful sin should not be an issue.
just think, when we willfully commit spiritual adultery by willfully serving the law of sin, we crucify our LORD anew. we deny the total transformation that a life "in Christ" produces.
there are spiritual ramifications to every action on this earth. everything we do "in the flesh" will be manifest "in the spirit"
but if we "walk in the spirit, we will not fulfil the lust of the flesh"
the only way to walk in the spirit is to walk in the word. there is no quickie, instant, right now relationship with GOD.
true obedience to HIM comes from that relationship.
i will write what Jesus called the two greatest commandments on the wall of my prayer room. i will find a way to bind them around my neck. i will put a ring on my hand that speaks of them, that I may meditate upon them.
they are found in matthew 22:38-39. that's a picture of heaven.
thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven,
Amen

Awww amen and amen!

When we are obedient it shows Him just how much we love Him.

Its not for us, its for Him ;) But we both (us and Him) get the benefits out of that relationship. He in return blesses us for our love to Him, and we bless Him by just loving Him.

Relationships are a two way street, He has fulfilled His part of the relationship and continues to do so, all we got to do is fullfill it with Him. And i am so grateful He keeps no records of wrongs, Amen? That is TRUE LOVE!

Thank u for posting was blessed by reading!
