Christianity Oasis Forum

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

Hi, Doing well to this point! Hey mlg, my dog talked!!!!!! hehe boy was he a talkin, said I love you clearly. Still clean, and NOT even having so many thoughts that are bad, maybe a few but i quickly get something else on my mind. THe Lord is trying to teach me something. Just be be still and know that He is God and Yep even here, its not that i'm being ignored, but that God is letting me know that I need to be still, I listened to some music on youtube and I know the LOrd put those songs for me to hear couse i started crying and felt convicted and just like a good panicattack lol. I took my math test today, I studied hard and spent a lot of time trying to figure them out. Going to a passover meal tomorrow night so i wont be here. I wont be here for the summer much either, and I am planning to visit florida, if possible may go see the holy land in Orlando, but I'm staying in Miami. Oh i started witnessing to the bpeople in the bus, it was a nice man today so i said here i want to give you this, have a good day, he said thank you, so be in prayer for those people, I want them to know Jesus personally too!! Be blessed

Mercy how cute...the dog talking :)

It's wonderful that you are able to continue controlling your thoughts....this means you are staying in the Spirit and He is proud of you.

Sounds like you have some busy days ahead..try to keep us posted as much as possible on how you are doing.

And witnessing on the bus...wooohooo now that is glory for our Father. Keep telling those souls about Jesus.

luv ya

*bravo* for witnessing on the bus :) .

And to have someone say "thank you" to receiving something from you is wonderful. Hurray!!!

I will absolutely *Pray* . It will help both them and me.

Sounds like you've been studying hard for your math test. I'm sure you did well. Don't forget to let us know how u did so that we can celebrate with you. And don't forget that we *Letsparty* celebrate "C's" over here.

OOOOoooooo, Florida huh???? *Sunrise* Sounds like you have a full year planned already. :) I'm happy for you.

Hug the dog for me, okay DogPerson ?

I'll *Pray*.

Hello, Sorry been a while since i posted here in my journal but things were a bit shaky for a while n well now I have something exciting to write about that happened just last night , which is why i wasnt in ok, I will first say the scripture that has been onmy mind is 1 corinthians 15:55-58 "where O death is your victory? where,O death , is your sting? The sing of death is sin, and the pwer of sin is the law, But thanks be to GOd! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm, let nothing move you. Altways give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord. Because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."
I have been praying a lot lately that God would take this addiction from me and then i kept failing and giving into the temptation. Well I always feel better when I pray online, so today I felt like looking at thinkgs on youtube and I thought about looking at porn again, this one movie title caught my eye and I watched it, so it was about the mission, to serve Jesus, after i watched it the feeling wasnt strong so the urge was gone, i fought it off. But later I got a feeling in my chest and body like heavy so when i got online it got stronger, I did ask my online pastor and we decided that I was delivered from the addiction and that I have been praying a certain prayer all day. About the shepherd who has to break the lambs leg because it kept going astray and then he puts the lamb on his shoulders until its leg heals when the lamb heals enought to walk, it walks close to the shepherds side never to stay again, so the shepherd is Jesus and that lamb is me and He needed to break that addiction so I won't stray awat anymore and stay close to Jesus side. I just want to desire Jesus, and pout away fleshly and lust desires, I want to bask in Jesus presence, feel His warmth in my heart, I dont want to yearn for flesly lust, but spiritual agape love, Jesus love, not for physical hugs but spiritual hugs. I want to experience Jesus love all around me that all i want to do is spend time studying, praying, and being still before God.
Then last night I had a dream that i was with my pastor and i was crying and told him i needed help, thats all i remember about the dream, well going to get something to eat i am hungry, blessings to you all

Now that's what I call work. Choosing what needs to be done the way it needs to be done even when the task is difficult and cumbersome. Way to go, Mercy *angelbounce* *angelbounce*

It's hard to walk well, I think. You did great. Many hugs, hon.
