day 1

Postby Guest » Wed Mar 31, 2010 12:11 am

today is the day i decided i wanted to let go go of my past and find the real me that God made me to be. I have trust issues in relationships and am currently in a relationship that is complicated, i know i need to trust him and for the most part i feel that i do. unfortunalty a situation has risen that reminds of something that happened in my past. I know that i need to believe that he will not do the same thing.

aside from that i also have three children that i have been raising on my own for the last 4 years and i am worried that i am failing them in some way. We do go to church on sundays and my daughter and i normally read the bible together before bed. i also have a 4 year old boy that is a handful. sometimes he very helpful and others he is totally defiant.

Hello Steph *Wave*

Good to meet you and welcome to Christianity Oasis.

I think you'll find this counseling steps the right path towards what it is you are seeking. :)

This quote just came to mind so I thought I'd share....
"Happy moments, praise God; Difficult moments, seek God; Quiet moments, praise God; Painful moments, trust God; Every moment, thank God"
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Hey stephsawyer, welcome to the Oasis. We are just delighted you are here.

You have come to the right place sis....the steps will help you do just what you are wanting to do...and that is to let go and let God. Now just remember that often when we are trying to overcome the past...there will be some tough weeds that have grown up in our garden that will have to be pulled up. Just make sure to be totally honest...and those roots will come out.

Praying for you on this journey. Hope to meet you in the chatroom sometime.

Take care and God Bless
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.
