when we expect to hear from GOD one way, HE uses another. confirmation came in an unexpected form, but just as GODLY. the 13th step in my incest survivors plan was to reach out to others. my question was if HE wanted me to train as a biblical counselors. the very verse on knowing your calling, 1cor 1:26-28 id quoted there.

God speaks in ways that He most knows that we will hear Him best. Sometimes it's in a very still small voice....other times it's in the voice of another...or sometimes it's through His Word in the Bible...or even through song...it's up to us though to hear His voice...so glad to hear you are listening to Him sis.

huelsing, I can see that you are meant to be a counselor. You have the quiet patience necessary and you are willing to let the Lord lead.
Most counselors depend on book knowledge and their own minds.

many thanks to all of you! and praise be to our GOD! as i read your replies, i was praying simply that HIS will be done. they have truly moved me to worship right now.
i i can feel HIS presence all around me, HIS love enveloping me.
oh how i love Jesus!
i look forward to moving forward. forgetting those things which are behind, i reach forth toward the things before. i (WILL) press toward the prize for the mark of the high calling of GOD which is in Christ Jesus.
