He doesn't need us, but chooses us still.
Because he loves the time spent with us.

A little boy bumped his head today.
I felt so bad for him. I hurt for him.
Hugged him, rubbed his head and back and snuggled close.
At that moment I closed my eyes and just soaked it in.

I think when we get hurt and go running to God and he snuggles us close he hurts for us, yet he soaks up that time together.

What does that have to do with this song? I have no idea. But it's what came to mind when I read those words.
