Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

yep, sis. hard as it is sometimes, love is all about giving, and not seeking anything in return. You get more from giving......and, why not sit and watch the olympics and nascar with him? you may find that time just as fullfilling!
God bless you, sis.
love isnt easy, it does take work...and is a continual process.
love you.
in Jesus,
love momo

Hello Iwanted2
I remember days like that. When I stopped expecting him to do things with me and for me and he felt that freedom it changed our world. He began to do things out of love for me and with me instead of because he felt he had to.
Personally I don't make a big deal out of Valentines Day. Because he doesn't. If I expect a big day and get nothing, I'm disappointed and hurt. So I meet him where he's at. Instead I try to make every day a valentines day by leaving love letter around and getting him his favorite things while out and about. All the while expecting nothing in return. I love the smile it brings to his face when I do these things. It makes me feel good inside too.
Marriage can be so frustrating. It seems like we think on different wave lengths or something. Remember we have an enemy that wants to destroy what God brought together. He works diligently against our marriages. Pray Pray Pray. And pray some more. Focus not on the frustrations but the good qualities. Have you considered bringing your world into his world. What do you like to do, cross stitch, read, internet? Can you sit beside him while he's watching nascar and do your thing?
The Love Dare comes to mind. A book that made a huge difference in my marriage was The Power Of A Praying Wife.

Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
