A young sister (ok young to me lol

) is having surgery for a tumor on Tuesday.
She's very active in the Lords service here at Oasis.
I would like to have a prayer vigil for her during this time so that she is lifted up 24/7 by at least one member here at Oasis through this difficult day.

Would you all be willing to choose an hour to lift Lani up on Tuesday January 19th? You don't have to pray the whole hour, just a moment during that hour for her.

Let me know what hour you would like.

Suggested prayer needs would be comfort, peace, faith, the surgeons and all involved in her physical care, her child and those who will help with the child and house hold while she's recovering, her blood pressure and any other complications that may arise, Gods presence to be known there, His healing touch, and most of all His good and perfect will do be done in all things in her life.

You don't have to be here to pray. Just try to remember during your hour you choose to pray where ever you are for Lani.

You could choose the time slot when you are driving to work or your lunch hour.

If someone is in the time slot that works for you don't fret! We can have two or more praying during that hour.

Y'all....

I assumed the vigil was for Haiti.

I've tried to reply three times. Read this for the first time this morning at work... and cried. Couldn't reply then... still can't find words that seem fitting...Of course my first response is to make a joke or something to make y'all smile, but even that is lacking right now.

There aren't words... forgive me.

I love each of you more then you know.

He woke me up at 6am and whispered a name in my ear, Lani. I said oh yeah! *ohyeah*

May you feel the comforting hand of papa surrounding you this morning. May His peace carry you through this time. May you rest in the His arms and find there that it is all ok, that He is in total control.
