Probably between being scared and different water quality (water gets cloudy when cycling) they aren't moving much. You want to make sure the nitrates don't spike by cleaning up leftover food from the bottom and changing about 10-20% of the water once a week.

cute pets I love the sea horse too...

I have pics when my grls were graduating homeschool when they was lil and took them the college down here for a treat they was having some kind of oceanograpy program and had sea horses and sharks and sting rays will see if I could post pics ...

only thing some were ummmm not alive but we got pics of them as my grls was raised fishing since lil and ne was like so fascinated by sharks and wanted to be an oceanographer but one who studys sharks and animals and swims with them too ... *Pray*
