The Power of Prayer
Over the next few days I want to speak a little on the Power of Prayer and the Power that comes from Saints in Christ praying according to the purpose of God's Will. What I'll be speaking will be coming from my own experiences and studies and some will be coming from some great servants of our Lord through out their lifetime. Some dating back a few centuries.
Since the day I surrendered my own life over to Christ. I've witnesses the Power of Praer and the awesome affects that come from that personal relationship we find when communing with the Lord. Over the last few years i've now come to understand what it truly means when one lack in their own prayer life. The affects it causes when we separate from the Lord, and from other Christians. It affects our relationship with Christ, it affects the relationship among believers, it affects how we are able to witness to others. It affects so much more. Everyone and don't care who they are, at some time or another our prayer life isn't what it should be, but God calls us back to Him by His Spirit. Christ feels every bit of hurt that is going on within His body. His there with arms wide open to take us in to commune with Him. For the past month or so the Lord has really spoken to my heart about Prayer and He has placed upon my heart to get this truth out on the Power of Prayer so that to them who reads that they themselves can have a much more deeper understanding and closer relationship with Him in this Knowledge of Prayer.
Power of Prayer....
God listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers for the prayer of the upright are his delight (Proverbs 15:8).
William Huntington wrote in a letter to a friend God loves to hear your prayers, as if God is saying "Let Me hear your voice, let Me see your face! For your voice is pleasant, and you are lovely!"
Prayer is pouring out the soul unto God and placing before Him our troubles. It is casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Beautiful! Tremendous! Awesome! Wonderful! Beautiful!
Hello Angeltears and all!
Blessings!
What a tremendous, beautiful, awesome, and glorious message your post on prayer is, Angeltears! Thank you so very, very much for sharing what the Lord laid on your heart. I agree with you 100%. We do not pray enough, and lose many benefits because of that. I witness to your call unto us to join you, and I'm in, and will post a prayer shortly, and have been praying in the Spirit in support of you the past week. The Lord wants his body to be less preachy and more PRAYCHEE AT THE PRESENT TIME! THAT'S AN ORDER! (I hope you see the humor in that, you all, but we need to help Angletears in this, one accord.
BLESSINGS!
Love, In Christ Jesus, Saint701.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.

Is it coming from the deepest parts of your heart, soul and life? Can heaven feel the force of your crying unto God? Are you in tune how the Spirit is leading you?
At times yes, at times no.
Sometimes life gets so busy and stressful that I completely forget to pray.
Other times I pray but it's more of a desperate plea for help because I lack trust and faith.
What an encouraging post to settle down and reach to a greater level.
Thank you angeltears.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Fullness of His Love
Greetings All!
Blessings!
Father we just praise you today, worship you, and give you glory. Father, we love and adore you. We gives thanks unto you, and praise your Holy Name!
We ask you today, Lord, for the rich blessing in understanding the fullness and richness of your love, to experience your love presence more deeply than ever before, to sink down into the bosom of your love like the beloved John, even dwell and bath in the glory of your love, to know the fullness of that love that produces in us a peace that passes all understanding.
Forever and ever, we praise you Lord, we worship you, we give you glory. We love and adore you, give thanks unto you, and praise your Holy Name!
In Jesus name, we pray, Amen! And Amen!
Blessings!

Praying for one another
We each have a steady course in which we have to finish in this world. This course we each take is strait and narrow, Matt.7:14, Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

More Word Food
Hi Angletears, Mack, Pine, and all,
Blessings!
Your Word post,
And when we are too busy to pray out loud, we can train ourselves to pray in our spiritual language without making a sound, just pray inside out of our heart. In fact, when warring in the Spirit, I have to pray this way 24/7, as otherwise would not get any sleep. I lie down knowing my Spirit is on guard, and always fall asleep right away.
I Timothy
Chapter 2
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Blessings!
Brother Den.

Hi Saint thank you so much for your prayers and replys. Know what you mean. Know when i'm to busy to pray or feel the need to pray and i'm surrounded by kids or whatever and unable to break away to pray i pray within. The Lord hears and listens to our silent prayers also.
Eccl. 9:17, "The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools."
Rom. 8:27, "And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God."
Lord Bless you all dearly!

Sorry this one is long, so much to prayer. I'm learning even more myself through this study.
Our kimberly here at Oasis has mentioned Corporate prayer several times and wanted to stop and give it much consideration to it.
Corporate Prayer
Corporate means - to be shaped into a body, body.
1. United in a body, or community, as a number of individuals, who are empowered to transact business as an individual; formed into a body; as a corporate assembly, or society; a corporate town.
2. United; general; collectively one.
They answer in a corporate voice.
Another meaning - formed into a unified body of individuals
In the New Testament we do see believers coming together praying together.
And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
