This is actually something our brother Omega brought it up today in chat, that he couldnt see who was entering into the chat cuz the font was so small.

You know, the text that says 'So and So has entered chat' when someone comes into the room.

I know it may not be possible to make that larger, but just in case it is, wanted to post it here for consideration.

Thanks and thanks for this new forum I know it will only help to make the Oasis more awesome.

I actually thought it would be good for everyone to have the same size font. Makes my eyes go gaga after a while.

Hi, the problem with everyone having the same size font is that some of the fonts are different on their own. So say one type of font at size 18 would be smaller or larger than another type font at the size 18.

People will adjust the different types of fonts to the size that can be readable.

Does that make sense?

For the entering and exiting text we are looking into increasing the font size for those.

Okay, that makes sense but people can enlarge their reading font without having to make their own, personal font super large, couldn't they?
I understand that some lettering will be larger without increasing the font...
I guess what I'm saying is that it is hard on my eyes to go from super big that some people have to smaller that others have.
Funny, I don't mind the colors as much.

I guess , the best bet would be , if we were to ask everyone to use a "standard courtesy" size for fonts , like 16 or 18 or something , and then ask the ones with diff font "styles" to adjust the size to match the standard ? out of common courtesy , and if they don't , ... just shoot'em !!

Telling people what size font to use will automatically bring out the rebel in many. I think it's better to not be able to see what they say then to offend and send them packing.

Ok my quesstion is.....
Last Sunday eveing in COOL CHURCH I got sooooo frustrated because I wcould only see half of what was going on as I do have extremly bad eyes.

is there anyway to lock in a font in cool church so that all would be the same no matter what you did?
I love coming in cool church but.....if I can't read what is being said without eatting the screen and end up upset ....any suggestions?

You ask everyone to make their font bigger but as you say different types equal different sizes even tho it is the same
and some people do get upset when you ask and just make is smaller!

tammy? why dont u try putting it on scroll lock and then using your Page Zoom feature on your computer to see if you can see the font better that way.

This will also work here on forums for those who have trouble reading posts.

Its a small magnifying glass to the bottom right of ur screen, or you can go to Page at the top right and zoom in/out from there.
