Christianity Oasis Forum

This forum is for those souls 18 years and older who are dealing with some type of addictive behavior whether it be from alcohol, drugs, overeating, fear, worry, sex, etc. Only with help and guidance from God can we ever hope to overcome these addictions. What is impossible for us to do IS POSSIBLE with God. Friends and family of those stricken with addictions are welcome to share as this problem affects more than just the soul entangled in its web.

uh uh giving up is the easy way out, and it keeps you in misery sis. My prayers are that God will move in your life and that you will hear His call to fight the good fight. Come on you CAN do this. With God all things are possible.

Thanks mig, JILL and Tam.

Skrubby,

In time, He will guide you away from such if you are patient with Him.

How long am I supposed to be patient? Sometimes I think it is all too much to handle? I know He is not supposed to give me more than I can handle - I am not sure I understand that -
but sometimes I think it is too much and I don't know If I will be able to get through this.

dear mypsbox,

i know how it feels when we think it is too much.

its an opportunity for u to experience His grace...and once u are ready..

God is Himself too much for us to handle if we are not ready for Him to.

the truth is..He never gives us more than we can handle..

and He never gives up on u..and is fighting with u

fight myspbox fight!

He is carrying u without u know it or no..

because He love u sooooo much..

most time..we can find His strenght and courage..in His quiet presence..

be still..and wait..

there He will find u..and breath His love in u..

love u!

my psbox....you know if you think it's too much, then your telling yourself it is...and what you believe you will receive....so you have to work on your thinking...see God wants you to take one day at a time, as it comes...instead of trying to think about days and months in advance.

Jesus said:

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

In other words....today brings enough trials and thoughts....so don't think about what is to come....just think about what you can do today.

luv ya
