Tell Me the Story of Jesus

Greetings ... In our Tell Me the Story of Jesus studies, remember that we are looking at the writings of four different authors of the Gospels and what one wrote, the others may not have. For example in this story we are looking at John. He was the beloved of Jesus. You can tell from his writings that he was a very gentle and emotional soul.

Perhaps this is one reason he shares with us stories and experiences that the others did not. He felt the experiences differently. We are all so very different, though we may all be Christian. We would all write of such an event as our Lord coming and staying with us for three and a half years differently.

As we proceed ... This Born Again Bible study will not only reveal how to be a Born Again Christian Bible passages but again, it will also enlighten the path of those who now proclaim, I am a Born Again Christian.

We've talked before about how you must be as a child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Now, some of you may have a little trouble with that still, so here's yet another point of view. The Lord finds children so precious and pure, and wants us all to be that way, so what do you do? You're not a child and you can't turn back time so the answer is you must be born again.

The Apostle Paul said in Colossians 2:20-3:4, that when you're born again your old self dies and your new person is not subject to carnal laws (human nature). He says touch not; taste not; handle not man's ways. You don't want to do things that Christ wouldn't do. In other words, you become Christ-like.

Our Born Again Bible study finds that by being born again, you're starting over with a clean slate. You're adopted into the Lord's family anew. There was a man who belonged to the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, who was a ruler of the Jews. He came to Jesus at night time and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that you're a teacher from God, because no man can do the miracles that you do unless God is with him.

Here is our Born Again Bible study absolutely awesome, How to be a Born Again Christian Bible Scripture: Jesus replied to Nicodemus, Truly I tell you, Unless a man is born again (from above), he can't see the Kingdom of God. Nicodemus asked (and you may still be wondering too), How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus said, Unless a man be born of water (adopted as a child of God into His family) and of the Spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God. (Jesus was born of the Spirit, as you know, and when you're reborn, you are a child of the Spirit ... Which is God.)

Jesus continues ... That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't be surprised that I said, You must be born again. The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you can't tell where it comes from or where it goes. That's how it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

How can these things be? Nicodemus asked. Jesus said, You're a master of Israel, and you don't know these things? Truly I say to you, We speak what we know and tell what we've seen and you don't believe our testimony. If I've told you earthly things and you don't believe them, how could you believe if I tell you about Heavenly (Spiritual) things? (If you are not born of the Spirit, Spiritual things would be like a foreign language to you that you don't understand.) No man has ascended up to Heaven, except He that came down from Heaven, that is, the Son of man which is in Heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness (When the children of Israel provoked the Lord in the wilderness, He sent fiery serpents among them and they bit the people and so many of them died.) Moses made a serpent of brass and hung it on a pole, and whoever was bitten and looked at the serpent that Moses made, lived. (Numbers 21:9), so must the Son of man be lifted up (hung), so whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

Here is a ... I am a Born Again Christian Tidbit of Truth: Now, what Jesus said next, has become one of the most pondered upon statements that Jesus ever shared, because it is the key factor in obtaining Salvation: You probably see "John 3:16" painted by enthusiastic Christians on water towers, on signs at sporting events, displayed on pieces of cardboard by homeless people, included in graffiti, written on billboard frames, etc. His message gets around:

So, it appears that we have found some important pieces of the Born Again Bible study puzzle. When you find these, how to be a Born Again Christian Bible hints, you not only get a second chance at life, but you get everlasting life as well! Don't you want to be able to say ... Jesus continued, Because God didn't send His Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world, through Him, might be saved. Whoever believes in Him isn't judged, but whoever doesn't believe is judged already because he hasn't believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the judgment: That light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Everyone that does evil, hates the light, for fear that his deeds will be examined. But whoever lives righteously comes to the light, so his deeds may be made clear that they're of God.

If you want to learn how to be a Born Again Christian ... The answer is Jesus as He is the light of the world. Get to know Him through the Holy Spirit, and He'll change your life. Don't be afraid to talk to Him because of anything that you've ever done. It's never too late. Remember, He forgives. Even though He knows you already, introduce yourself to Him. Build a relationship, a friendship, a love, a trust, a dependence. Talk to Him. He's like no one else. He's what you've been waiting for, your whole life.
