Guide Me

I ask God to guide me to show me the way
It is He only that can show me brighter days
As I cry out to Him and seek His face
He is steadily guiding me to that special place
That place in my life where He wants me to be

Steps of a Good Man

A Godly man will have everlasting life
A Godly man will know how to handle strife
The Lord will order his steps in everyway
The Lord will be by his side each and everyday
Every detail of His life is the Lord's delight
The Lord will keep a good man in His great sight
If this man shall stumble, the Lord will see that he does not fall
But if he shall fall the Lord will help him to his feet
Following the Lord is so sweet
This is God's greatest desire for all
The Lord will hold your hand each step that you take
He will not pressure you; it is your decision to follow Him
It is your decision to make

The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord: He delights in every detail of their lives.

Everyday

No need to fret and no need to cry
Just have faith and give the Lord a try
Each and everyday He hears your call
He will always be there to catch you when you fall
Do not fret and don't be mad
It is the enemy that is trying to make you sad
When times are rough and darkness comes
Remember where your strength comes from
Everyday, everyday, everyday living for the Lord is the only way
Do not worry when it seems to be no light
He has your back and He will fight your fights
Each and everyday He hears your call
He will always be there to catch you when you fall
Some days are hard as hard can be
He gave us light so we can see
Do not worry when others seem to turn their backs
Just put it in the hands of the Lord
He will get them back on that right track

Do not stop living for what is right
The Lord will never let you out of His precious sight

Look to the Lord and He will lead you to that right place
And you will soon be singing Lord I long to see your face
He will lead you to a place of peace, joy and happiness
Some days will be hard and full of nothing but stress
But call on His name and He will be there to hear you out
He will keep you in a safe place without a doubt
So look in the right place and not the wrong
God's love will never leave you alone

Healing in the City

The Lord is the one who does all of the healing
He is our provider he knows what we are feeling
There will be healing in the city and healing in the field
The Lord is our Shepard and He is definitely our shield
He will heal us from hurt and heal us from pain
He will heal where our life will never be the same
Just open your heart and let the Lord in
Just open your heart and throw out all sin
Have faith in His will and faith in His way
He is healing your heart as you read what I say
There will be healing in the city and healing in the field
The Lord is our Shepard and He is definitely our shield

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of they wounds, saith the Lord;
Jeremiah 30:17

He Defines Integrity

This man of God had love for all
And when you were down you knew who to call
His heart was pure and full of love
He is now with our Father up above
He was a true man of God and a true man of integrity
Rev. Ervin Turner was true to God's word indeed

There are many words that can define this wonderful man
He was always there to lend others a helping hand

His strength and firmness illuminated with his life
His love was strong and dear to his wife

The honesty and sincerity that he carried around
Would make anyone have a smile instead of a frown

My heart goes out to this family and friends
He carried an anointing until the end

He is still with you and will always be
He is now with our Father so happy and free

It is now time for his children to take the stand
And let the world know about this great man

His life was dedicated to the word and sowing a seed
In this world of strife and confusion that is what we all need

I leave you with words that begins with an I
Because it was about everyone else as he put his cares aside

He was intelligible, intellectual, inspiring, intense
Interesting, an intermediary, intractable, intriguing, intuitive,
Invoking and graced with integrity.

He was a true man of God and a true man indeed.

For Our Iniquities

Wiping Away the Tears

I felt the brush of the wind against my face
That is when I was taken to that Holy place
My head bent low as a tear hit the dirt on the ground
This is when I knew that the Holy Spirit was around
He was wiping away the tears and comforting my fears
A smile approached as the light shined through the dark
This is when I decided that this feeling I never wanted to part
A second tear fell but it was a sign of happiness praise
From this day on I will continue to keep my hands raised
Raised unto the Lord for all that He has done in me and through me
This bright light that illuminates from me is for all to see
He wiped away my tears and He comforted my fears

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Oh, Listen

Oh, listen to the people sing and shout
Proclaiming their love for you Jesus
Without a doubt

Whatever Happened to My Wilted Soul?

I laid curled up with distress and grief
As my mind continued to remind me of
Love over powering the pain
I thought to myself why me? Why me?
I never have hurt nor harmed a soul
Then it suddenly came to me
This is why God's story must be told

I lay curled up with sadness and what for
This is my life and I will make a stand
I opened my eyes to look around
I could feel his presence
But not hearing a sound

It is now that time to live again
I felt my legs stretch to an upright position
My arms unfolded to the swift breeze of relief
My body cried out from the exhorting feeling of freedom
My mind was light as if a ton of bricks were lifted
My wilted soul was lifted as if a rose unwrapping
Itself to view the sun, this is what happened when
I allowed God to be the one
That is what happened to that wilted soul
It came alive and full of cheer
And I now know that God is always near

To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

Confirmation

Confirmation comes through many things and in many ways
Shh... listen to His voice; listen to what he has to say
For He sends to us, affirmation, generalization and confirmation
Speak to the Lord through prayer and song
He will respond and it does not take long
You shall never allow His word to go void
The devils lies will forever be destroyed

His word is forever right and true
His sweet whisper makes us feel brand new
When that word to you comes to pass
Remember that God's love will forever last
For He sends to us, affirmation, generalization and confirmation

He has many ways to show His love for all
He will be there to pick you up when you fall
When he sends me a word or two
Praise and worship is what I do

I give Him glory for every single thing
When you give Him praise, listen for those angel bells ring
Ring full of cheer, happiness and joy

Our love for God should never go void
For He sends to us, affirmation, generalization and confirmation
Give Him a try and you too will obtain that sensation
And you too will have the desire to spread to every generation
Call on His name when up arises that spirit of temptation
Then you will understand how He sends to us
Affirmation, generalization and confirmation

And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through accompanying signs. Amen"

Do You Know What that Teardrop is Saying?

It may be a way of telling you to start praying
It may seem that no one even cares
Jesus is love and He is happy to share
That teardrop rolls softly down your cheek
Always remember that the word says
Blessed are the meek
You hear His voice and want to share with all
It seems that they will not listen, not until they fall
That teardrop rolls into the hands of our Lord
Listen to this
For the word of God is quick and powerful,
And sharper than any two-edged sword
That teardrop is a sign of faith you have in your heart
Give all to Jesus and you will realize that you should
Have done that from the start
They all will listen next time the Lord speaks
They then will realize it is their heart that He seeks
That teardrop of love you share for their salvation
They will soon know that it is Jesus they should call
When it seems that all that comes is temptation
That teardrop can mean joy, happiness, hurt and pain
Jesus' love will always remain the same
That teardrop could be a tear of love to Him from you
Don't ever forget that He hears your cry too
So every time you shed a tear
Remember that Jesus is always near

Listen to the song of the butterfly
All alone in the dark
Wondering when I will make my mark
When will I spread my wings and begin to fly

Wrapped tight in a dark cocoon

As Jesus sacrificed his life for our sins
Some butterflies do the same for their friends
When will I spread my wings and begin to fly

He saved our souls so we can see
That life is ours for eternity

I am now out of the darkness and into the light
He gave me life so I can live right
My wings are spread wide, far and apart
It should been His will that I was living from the start

Friends did you all now that some butterflies are poisonous and when animals eat them, they get very sick. What that particular family of butterfly does is sacrifice their own lives to save the lives of the other butterflies. By them doing this, animals will not bother that particular family of butterflies. My friends this reminds me somewhat of Jesus and how He sacrificed His life for us. He sacrificed His precious life for all of us, so the devil cannot devour us. It is similar to the beautiful butterfly that is eaten by that animal and the only thing that the butterfly has on his mind is to save his family. Jesus died for our sins so that we may have everlasting life. God sent Jesus to the world not to condemn the world, but that the world may be saved through Jesus. That butterfly gave the other butterflies safety, just like Jesus gives our hearts, lives and souls safety. So that my friend's is why the butterfly sings.

How precious is Your loving kindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.

Thanks Unto Thee

I sing thank you for giving me eyes to see
I sing thank you for the air that I breathe
When you hear me hum that sweet sound of Praise

Can I Ask You A ?

Can I ask you a question?
Why are you playing with God as if a toy?
Don't you know that He is the one that will bring you joy?
Can I ask you a question?
Why do terrorist kill for reasons they don't even know?
The person that they take orders from is sure not to go
These people still live, happy, drinking and merry
Their lives they are sure not to loose in a hurry
Can I ask you a question?
Don't they know that hell is what will be their new home?
Those that give them orders will be long gone!
Can I ask you a question?
Why do people demonstrate such hate and evil behavior?
Don't they know the reason we are here is because,
of Jesus Christ our Savior.
Can I ask you a question?
Why do some say they love the Lord with all of their hearts?
But when you are not looking they forget what was said from the start
They are backbiting, gossiping, fighting and doing nothing but wrong
But when they are in our presence it is praises unto the Lord that is their song
Can I ask you a question?
When will they realize that the day will come?
The day we will see that precious one
The one who died for our sins?
The one who will always win?
Can I give you the answer?
Say yes to Jesus and glow with the light
Say yes to Jesus and live your life right
Can I ask you a question?
Don't you think that this answer is the way to go?
When others see you what they will see is a beautiful glow.

Love of My Father

You gave me your name to carry

We Shall Magnify Thy Name

Why do mankind keep up rivalry

Lets all come together and magnify the name of Jesus!

Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Nine/Eleven

On that day we cried our tears
Jesus said His love is near
Thousands of lives was lost on nine eleven
Thousands of lives was sent to heaven
On that day we yelled for peace
His love for us will never cease
He said to us its time to change
It is our lives that we need to rearrange
Some of you changed for only that day
Living for the Lord is the only way
It is time to change and live for the Lord
Your way of life is like the field of swords
If you don't believe this word
Go to 2^nd Samuel Chapter two
And let God's voice be heard
Thousands of lives was lost on nine eleven
Thousands of lives was sent to heaven
My prayer for all is to listen to His voice
That day will come; so let heaven be your choice
Those people did not know they would not see tomorrow
This is a time for repentance and not for sorrow
Lets pray for them and their family too
Without the Lord in our lives what would we do?

And each one grasped his opponent by the head and thrust his sword in his opponent's side: so they fell down together. Therefore that place was called the Field of Sharp Swords.

Woman of Destiny

Time to Be Real

Some stand in the pulpit but live a life of lies
Each day not being truthful but God lets you get by
You quote the scriptures daily but live another way
But yet God still allows you to see another day
Don't think He is happy with the things that you do
You are no better then other's you will have to answer Him too
The day will come when you will be revealed to all
You grieved God when you didn't accept your call
Your call is to live by His word and His word alone
You are to feed His sheep and plant many seeds
But instead of doing right you are doing all wrong deeds
You are in the position to show yourself strong
But yet you tend to dip in the devils world and continue to do wrong
It is time to be real before it is too late
Your way of living is the answer to your fate
Repent and turn from you wicked way of living
Your gifts and blessings is all of God's giving
This is a warning to those who are not living right
He will come for you in the deep of the night
You will burn in hell and will never be set free
Ask yourself the question
Is hell where I want to be?

... for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Your Life Will Never Be the Same

Put down the cigarettes, the drugs and the beer
It is Jesus calling no need to have fear
He is calling your name in the middle of night
He is trying to tell you to do what is right
Stop the fornication and wait until the day you wed
Don't allow the devil to defile your body or your bed
Get out of that club with that music of sin
You can't run, nor hide from Jesus, because He will win
Give Him a try and you will see the light
You will strive to do what is right
Take it from me, I once was there
Without the Lord, my life was going nowhere
I thought I had it all until He opened my eyes
And that is when I realized all of the devils lies
I gave up the life of unhappiness and strife
Now I am living a better life
There are times when life seems to get me down
But then I remember that God is around
Give Him a try and you will see
That being in His presence is the best place to be
You will agree with me when I say
That your life will never be the same

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
