Re: I'm Not Going to Make it
I have to say I was in a pretty bad place when I wrote this post & Satan had temporally blinded me. The title of the post should have been; I’m Not Going to Make It if I Listen to Satan. Since this post I have started working on improving my living situation. I realize it’s going to take time because it took a while for it to get this messed up. But with perseverance & God’s help it will get done.

John,
Your profession of Faith provides all your answers. When we are down to our last straw (as Christians) God is up to something. I too have struggled with my Faith at times and wanted to end this "hell" I live in. Knowing that my joy doesn't come from what I experience in this life but in the personal relationship of the Lord Jesus sustains me through all things. My grandpa told me that if I never experience the valley how would I know what it is like to be on the mountain, and that in the valley is where I do my best growing since the mountain doesn't afford much room for growth. He also said if I am going to pray stop worrying and if I am going to worry stop praying. You know that when we feel like God has given us too much to handle it just means that God thinks we are alot stronger than we think we are since He will never give us more than we and He can't handle together. When I was diagnosed with MS I really didn't understand that it was not up to me to fix this, it has always been in God's plan to work through all I must endure to bring Himself honor and glory. It just aint about me it is about Jesus all the time.
John, just remember Jesus went through so much more than we ever will and He loves you more than life.

Nothing else matters. It is all about Jesus.

John I've learned in those down times to remember it passes. Storms come, storms go, but they never stay forever. The devil wants your presence out of this world and so he tempts you with suicidal thoughts. Hang in there. Love you bro.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
