How I Get My Posts

Hosted by Saint 701 ... This forum is for the purpose of examining the subject of Grace and its great place in God's work in the body of Christ Jesus of which we are a part. "The Book of Romans" was chosen for the title since that book is so rich in Grace to us, but in no way is this forum limited in examining Grace to only the "Book of Romans."

How I Get My Posts

Hello All,

*AngelYellow*
Blessings!

One little discussed way of hearing from God is found in John chapter 16. The verses read as follows.

[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
[14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
[15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Now such scriptures are interesting to read, but how does one go about entering into the reality of the experience of seeing or hearing what the Holy Spirit has to teach us? First of all, God Himself has to give us more grace, and more grace is added as we mature in Him. Remember, our Heavenly Father is the husbandman, and we are the vine. We must grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord. Such takes time.

More grace comes from an increasing separation from the world. And that grace of a greater separation from the world is also the Father's work. (I digress here as must say that many of the church world today do not receive anything from the Spirit of Truth because they frustrate His grace. This happens because they allow themselves to be overwhelmed by the world.) I don't get my posts by selecting a particular area of the Bible to study each day. I get them directly from the Spirit of Truth, who gets them directly from the Lord Jesus. The Spirit of Truth imparts to my spirit each day what it is I am to teach or preach upon. I actually see it because I am shown it. And what I see normally comes with the light of understanding. However, sometimes I don't see everything and add more study.

I am not withering on the vine. I stay connected to the source through much prayer and out of the world as much as possible. I know I am doing what the Father wills for me as I keep asking, the Lord keeps showing, and I keep writing here. And such isn't hard. I don't have to beg or plead. Our Heavenly Dad loves us, and if we love Him it is His good pleasure to give us the kingdom.

Paul talked of such a gift being available for all our Dad's children in the Book of Ephesians chapter one. Such a gift is called the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. So how did I get the gift? I asked Dad for it.

[16] Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
[17] That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
[18] The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
[19] And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power.
[20] Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.

So why this post? It is the Father's good pleasure to give us the kingdom,
as such is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit, and He has impressed upon me His desire that you all have this gift. So this is His post to you from me today.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
