Random thoughts this morning...Observations....
Why do people wear the masks they wear? Instead of being honest with themselves and others, they take out a mask that fits them best for that day and place it on in order to cover up who they truly are...do they do this out of fear?...do they do this because they like hiding from others?...do they do this to play games with others?....or do they do this to cover up the hurt and pain that people would otherwise see on their face? How do we help them see that the mask will not heal them but is just artificial...and they have to remove the mask in order to begin the healing they need and deserve.
Complainers and whiners...the ones who never seem to be going anywhere with their healing....but are always whining and complaining about the same thing...over and over....makes ya wonder why they are unreachable...beginning to think they like being where they are and therefore they refuse to allow Jesus to be who He truly wants to be for them....sad so very sad...but never giving up...there is always HOPE that one day they can be reached.
Cliques....people who are friends in a group and instead of reaching out to everyone...they reach out to only the ones in their cliques...and to the ones they don't like or who don't fit into their group or who don't agree with them or don't think like them...well they become outcasts...and these souls who need friends suffer alone because it's cliques over Jesus...so selfish and so sad to watch at times....
LOVE....beautiful...sweet.....happy.....refreshing....renewed.....forgiveness.....breathe......feel.....never fails....never ends.....JESUS

Today I was reading in Philippians 4 and came across where Paul is talking to the Philippians saying that when he first went to Macedonia no church helped him by giving except the Phillippians...and that even when he was in Thessalonica the Phillippians sent once and again for his necessities...not because he desired a gift...but that they saw a brother in Christ in need and their fruits revealed their TRUE hearts...
I wonder why so many refuse to help others even today...what Paul went through is still very prevalent in Christians now...most turn away from helping...my preacher mentioned in church today if you want to see where your heart truly is...pull out your checkbook and see how many times you've got checks to this store or that store, this bill or that bill and then see how many times you've given money to God or someone in need....then will your heart be truly known...he said when someone says I just don't have the money to help...what they are often saying is I won't sacrifice something in my life to help...whether it be cable tv..internet...that movie ticket....or that one night out to dinner...selfish thoughts but it's the truth...give and you shall receive....don't give and wow I don't wanna think about that...cuz life without the blessing of God is just not worth living...sacrifice now or sacrifice later...but in the end...we all MUST sacrifice for Him. Choosing to sacrifice now...when one doesn't have it to give...give up something so others can have a meal or a roof. Choosing God first over self. It's definitely worth it.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Last night I watched the movie Happy Feet. Never seen that movie before...and I know it's been out a while, but I rarely sit down and just watch movies...but it was quiet, so thought I'd flip the tv on for noise and when I did...it was on a children's channel that nene likes to watch and Happy Feet was coming on.
As I watched this movie...it is a story of a penguin who is born different...all the other penguins can sing...but instead this baby penguin can't sing...he can only dance...and for his oddness...happy is deemed the outcast. As I look around the world today...I recognize how others seem to deem Christians as the outcast...we are different...and we are odd....but THAT is how God made us...how we are now reborn...to stand out with the light within us shining forth into the darkness...at the end of this movie the baby penguin uses his uniqueness to help the very penquins who tossed him out because of his inability to sing and his ability to dance. We as Christians too can help those who deem us as strange and different...by using what they see as unusual..Christ within us...to show them there is hope and love waiting for them....Jesus...instead of all the hate and hurt they often experience in this cold world.
I was reading sharing using food...edible and Spiritual to reach hurting and lost souls...I think of all the different abilities within the Body of Christ...how they come together so perfectly...so awesome to be different...just as the penguin I watched on Happy Feet...Dare to be Different for Jesus!

My heart hurts tonight...my compassionate spirit is hurting....got a phone call this afternoon from work...a member died...a young member...his father just lost one son a year ago...now another...God has a purpose...He knows what is best...but I fear this soul may have never accepted Jesus...I pray not...but can't be sure
Then got to church to find out that one of our church members nephew-a 3 year old child- was accidently ran over by his mother today and has been careflighted to a larger hospital. I know this family...the mother was just cleaning out the car...she thought all her babies were on the porch...but the little one was instead behind the car.
But...I know God is in control...

Pets...so very unusual in their own demeanor...I have two dogs...one is a boxer named Rocky and the other is this cute little mutt named Peaches. Rocky is more my dog and Peaches is more nene's dog. Usually Rocky is right on my heels anywhere I am, he follows. Peaches on the other hand, is not usually near me UNLESS...I'm upset and crying or...I don't feel well like tonight....this is the first time in awhile that I don't feel good...but Peaches has picked up on it and she has come to snuggle with me, several times. It's so strange as Rocky my boxer could care less how I feel...he comes to sit near me but never really snuggles...Peaches on the other hand...will come and get as close as she can with her head to my face or neck and apply pressure as if she is hugging me...I often think the Holy Spirit sends this precious dog to my side, as He knows when I need comfort and she is always there ONLY in these times...in fact one time she came to hug on me, and when she left there was this green light of sorts sitting where she had just left...I reached out trying to touch the light to see if it was really there...and it never moved...I know the Holy Spirit often shows Himself as green shadows...and I really believe that what I was seeing was the Holy Spirit sitting beside me...showing me that He had guided this dog to my side....so every time Peaches comes to snuggle now, which is always when I need comfort...I believe He has brought her to me...as He knows what I need when I need it. Call me weird but I can feel His presence even now...and Peaches just left from hugging me...

This morning...I find myself disappointed...and that has made me moody...to the point I just don't want to be around people...as it is people themselves who have disappointed me with their actions...should I expect less out of these people...I don't think so...because they know better....I wonder why I even care...wouldn't life just be eaiser if we went around and didn't care about others...only ourselves...but then we would be called selfish...so caring brings about disappointment...and not caring brings about selfishness.....looks like a loosing battle all the way around to me.
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Hello Mlg
I was reading the Bible yesterday, and The Holy Spirit led me to the following scriptures. They zinged me, good. I, now, share them with you.
2 Samuel 16:5-14 (New International Version)
5 As King David approached Bahurim, a man from the same clan as Saul's family came out from there. His name was Shimei son of Gera, and he cursed as he came out. 6 He pelted David and all the king's officials with stones, though all the troops and the special guard were on David's right and left. 7 As he cursed, Shimei said, "Get out, get out, you man of blood, you scoundrel! 8 The LORD has repaid you for all the blood you shed in the household of Saul, in whose place you have reigned. The LORD has handed the kingdom over to your son Absalom. You have come to ruin because you are a man of blood!"
9 Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said to the king, "Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Let me go over and cut off his head."
10 But the king said, "What do you and I have in common, you sons of Zeruiah? If he is cursing because the LORD said to him, 'Curse David,' who can ask, 'Why do you do this?' "
11 David then said to Abishai and all his officials, "My son, who is of my own flesh, is trying to take my life. How much more, then, this Benjamite! Leave him alone; let him curse, for the LORD has told him to. 12 It may be that the LORD will see my distress and repay me with good for the cursing I am receiving today."
13 So David and his men continued along the road while Shimei was going along the hillside opposite him, cursing as he went and throwing stones at him and showering him with dirt. 14 The king and all the people with him arrived at their destination exhausted. And there he refreshed himself.
God bless you, Mlg.
Love and hugs,
Mack

Oh, and there is more, just a couple chapters over.
2 Samuel 19:16-23 (New International Version)
16 Shimei son of Gera, the Benjamite from Bahurim, hurried down with the men of Judah to meet King David. 17 With him were a thousand Benjamites, along with Ziba, the steward of Saul's household, and his fifteen sons and twenty servants. They rushed to the Jordan, where the king was. 18 They crossed at the ford to take the king's household over and to do whatever he wished.
When Shimei son of Gera crossed the Jordan, he fell prostrate before the king 19 and said to him, "May my lord not hold me guilty. Do not remember how your servant did wrong on the day my lord the king left Jerusalem. May the king put it out of his mind. 20 For I your servant know that I have sinned, but today I have come here as the first of the whole house of Joseph to come down and meet my lord the king."
21 Then Abishai son of Zeruiah said, "Shouldn't Shimei be put to death for this? He cursed the LORD's anointed."
22 David replied, "What do you and I have in common, you sons of Zeruiah? This day you have become my adversaries! Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Do I not know that today I am king over Israel?" 23 So the king said to Shimei, "You shall not die." And the king promised him on oath.
God bless you, Mlg. Jesus loves you.

Such soothing thoughts in these shared Scriptures sis...my spirit has been tossed about today a lot...hard to find peace even listening to Christian music and reading the Bible...but this is my second time reading what you shared here today...and finally something stood out to me...this
If I can just put out of my mind all the things that has brought disappointment...then I can pick up my joy again...gonna continue working at it.
luv ya Mack
May the king put it out of his mind.

Love....what is True love?...been thinking about love a lot today....how we show others we love them....and they in turn show us.....but what about God....doesn't He show His love to us continually? I mean everything we have is given to us by Him...nothing is ours truly...it's all His and given to us out of love....but does God really need to give us anything? I mean He has given us the ultimate sacrifice...His son Jesus....what more does He need to give....the answer is nothing...He doesn't need to give us anything...nor does He have to...what He does give us comes in the form of blessings...and all because He loves us! Beautiful, beautiful love.
I think of how when we love people...others...how God receives glory from our love...as God is the creator of love...and those who choose to love...are following in God's example...of what He created....giving Him the glory.
So how does one fall in love? Well it usually starts out as an encounter...meeting someone...then spending time with them...getting to know them...to see who they really are...all their flaws and all...and accepting them despite their flaws...and then growing closer through the time spent...and falling in love...but Jesus doesn't have any flaws...so it should make it easier to fall in love with Him...so you would think...but the world seems to draw away from loving Him more and more...as love begins to loose it's "luster" and so many are allowing love to wax cold...
Who do you love and why do you love them? Awww you say I love Jesus...great who else do you love? What about loving all others...because God expects it...are you truly loving as God would have you to love?

Hello sis
Amen
He sure does, His love is abounding and leaps over mountains and reaches the deepest parts of the oceans. His love is everywhere. I pray that He will comfort you during this time and whatever you are going through i KNOW that our Daddy has a tight grip on your hand and is close to your heart.
Love you dearly sis.
No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. 1John 4:12
True Love is loving one another with no conditions, no deals, no fear...
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 1 John 4:18
I often think "I wonder if Jesus was afraid to die on the cross, of the pain that wld be afflicted on Him... " I think that in the flesh he may have come across those feelings or tempted to feel that way... But He loved us and therefore casted out the fear of pain etc... but why??? Because that was true love. Yet as i picture HIm in my mind on that cross i see Him looking past the pain and knowing the purpose of HIs Father's will. And loving His Father so much that He would be obedient to accepting His will. That is a true love. An intimate relationship between them. How He longs for us to be that way, but in the same token understands that we cannot attain it on our own. We need Him. Wonderful Father!
Just some thoughts He has given me this morning.
We praise You Lord for showing us what true love is so we can be examples, For without your example how would we know? may we love one another as u love us.
Thank You Father.. can u imagine sis? I'm sure you have thought about this as any parent would have... Giving up your beloved child... for others... amazing love. WOW, a love we are to try to imitate.. Be imitators of God therefore as dearly loved children and live a life of love... Ephesians 5
