Prayer Request

Postby birthwhisperer » Sun Jan 06, 2013 12:18 am

Hello, my 30 y.o. daughter is leaving next week to join the Canadian Armed Forces and will be starting Boot Camp on Monday, Jan. 14th. While I am thrilled for her and so very proud of her, as her mother I am heartbroken at the thought of no longer having her around our home. I am already shedding tears and wondering how I will ever cope with this "loss"! She is very close to both my husband and me, and while she won't show us I'm sure she is somewhat emotional as well. Please pray for the Lord to give us His wisdom, guidance and His strength as our precious 'baby girl' launches out on a 4 year commitment in the Navy. We live in Ontario, and she will be likely stationed on either the east or west coast, both of which are a great distance from us, so visits will be few. She is also suffering with the flu, so I am also praying for the Lord's healing touch to restore her to full and complete health before she leaves.

Bless all of you who join with us in prayer -- thank you!

In your name Jesus we are praying in agreement with birthwhisperer's request, may the Lord give you guidance, wisdom and strength.

May God protect your daughter and command His angels to guard her. Ps 91:11

God Bless
