Prayer for my Father in Law
This is a prayer for my fiance's father who got a biopsy done last week. He has a tumor on his lung and one on his liver. We were anticipating the results today, but were informed that the doctors needed a larger sample. The next appointment is on the 14th so we ask the Lord for patience.
Almighty God Please give Chris and I the patience to wait for the doctor's response on his Dad's tumors. Please help Chris to find you and ask for your guidance during this difficult time. Lord, we ask you to guide the doctors and give them the knowledge to find what is in my father in laws body and help to cure him or make him more comfortable if we cannot cure him. We love you and trust in your will. I ask you Lord to forgive us for our sins, and help us learn from our mistakes. We accept the things we cannot change. Chris and I have the power to stay sober, and we thank you for guiding us and showing us the way to You, our savior. We are ever so happy to have found You through each other. Thank you for blessing us with this beautiful love we share and thank you Jesus for answering my prayers.
We love you.
Amen
(I do not know how to pray. I was always told there is no right or wrong way and to talk to God how ever you want. If anyone can help me with prayer I would like that. This is the first time I shared a prayer. Thank you so much for reading this.)

Hello Iloveanimals,
I join you in lifting up prayers our Lord in the name of Jesus, on behalf of your fiance's father. May God's blessed will be done.
Also, there is a blessed study on this site pertaining to prayer. I found it most helpful. Here is the link: http://www.christianityoasis.com/Keywor ... Prayer.htm
God bless and keep you, Iloveanimals.
In Christ Jesus' love,
Sister Mack

Praying for you all.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
