Prayer Request

Postby Christdaughter » Sat Nov 13, 2010 9:43 pm

Please pray for my husband, he who once was faithful, prayer warrior, lay face down in worship of God, has been one of the meanest, spiteful, telling me how terriable i am ( ijust got out of the hospital today BP 181/149) and this starts, I was tring to comfort him, telling him how hard he ahs worked with his healt bad, he pushed me away and told me not to start that, i ask what & he told me praying..........i sit for a while then got angry.......went & told him nothing would stop my prayers for him.....he told me everytime i prayed things got worse, I told him well duh, the enemy was fighitn, he said yes, what did i just say.......I told him I would pray for him until the day i died, that he belong to God and what God held in His hand no one could pluck it out & In Jesus name You belong to God.
I came back into or home and just sobbed.......i ask that all prayer warriors keep my husband in prayer, he is starting to act like the old man more & more & I REFUSE to let the enemy have him!.....Hubbie also told me, this was HIS house cause his name was on the deed first and no one was going to tell him who could or could not come here....i calmly told him..............he didin't have to worry about my friends cause they were not allowed here..........PLEASE, PLEASE, help me fight this battle.

In Christ,
Christdaughter *help*

Christdaughter~

I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with these problems. Your husband is definitely fighting God with a lot of anger & resentment. I have never had to deal with this kind of problem but know a lady in church who dealt with it for some time. This woman was the meekest woman I have ever met and never seen her without a smile on her face. I had asked her at one point how she does it with a husband who was so involved in the church, and now he hates everything, doesn't want her to talk about it any more. She simply said... I am leaving HIM in God's hands. I just keep loving him and every time I get ready for church I just let him know I would love it if he went with me. Of course he would say no ... sometimes even get mad. But she did it anyway.... just to let him know she loved him and missed him going with her.

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is say NOTHING. Just show him you love him by being the best wife you can be. Now that he knows how you feel and that you will never stop praying for him..... you don't need to say anymore. He knows it! We sometimes want to HELP GOD in getting our lost ones back.... but in doing so.... make them walk further away from God. This is definitely a very hard thing not to want to help. But TRUST GOD & KNOW HE IS STILL IN CONTROL. You know how much you LOVE your husband and want him back serving the Lord? GOD LOVES HIM MORE! :)

See, from your husbands eyes, he see you as nagging, making him feel MORE guilty than he feels already. That is why he is so angry.... you keep reminding him of his sin. Which causes more anger... so all I can say is to just show him LOVE.... LOVE....LOVE. As Jesus did to all the ones that were sinners.

I will be praying for both of you. You need to take care of yourself as well. Your being this upset is not helping your bp either. So try and just LEAVE it with the LORD.... Ask the Lord to help you to be calm and to trust HE will take care of everything. Don't stop praying... just stop pushing.

Love & Prayers,
Linda *Pray*

Father You know what has taken hold of this child of Yours. We come to You asking that You will take this child and renew the love he once had. Heal this marriage and give peace.

In Jesus we pray,
Amen
Nothing else matters. It is all about Jesus.

Greater is HE thats is in you then HE that is in the world . Like she said ...its nothing god cant do , so you hold your ground FIRM in the lord ..and contunie to cry out and call upon his name ... daily and consistantly walking and talking to god , because thee are the fragile moments that the devil likes to feed off and mess with you ...But you will make it and the devil will not break it , in jesus name . I do rebuke him right now ..qand i release the perfert will of god in both ya lives and your marriage. God turn the heart of stone into clay ....and form it out of love and into love ... let him be gentle and understanding to his wife and vise versa ..Helo her to hold her peace and the word cloe to her ..In jesus name ,AMEN. Smile my dear...things are getting better *angelbounce*

Praying for you sister and your husband! Don't lose faith..even when you feel you are ready to give up! It may the moment you give up that your husband was going to turn back to God. You never truly know what is in someones heart or how God is dealing with them. Show your husband kindness and love no matter what he does, pray and trust in the Lord and he will help you! He says he will never leave us or forsake us. Believe it! Lord I ask that you bring this woman your peace that passes all understanding and that you lift her up when she feels she can't go further. Encourage her heart, increase her faith in you! Thank you Lord for what you are going to do!
